Jeeeesus, what the he'll have they done, tyre temps are all over the place, barely half way round lap 1 and the tyres are over heated and in the yellow, then the cars are fish tailing all over the place,I had this gripe before this patch but now it's even worse, these clowns fix one thing but then break another ten things in the game, **** it I'm going back to project cars 1

Just this morning I was actually enjoying the game,I was setting some fast clean laps in the sauber c9, then this evening after this sodding patch now I can't even keep the sauber in a straight line, the Ferrari la Ferrari, Porsche 918 and the p1 are still as bad as ever,I don't even bother playing with those three cars anymore,I was hoping after this patch I might actually start using those cars but its impossible just to keep them in a straight line never mind pushing them or driving at 9 tenths

Don't run soft tyres in hot weather/tracks. You'll find the hards are excellent in hot weather.
a serious question @IanBell on this .... When running 'non-tune' race rooms for our leagues how can we make this happen when the car defaults to the soft tyre at race start and qual? Only option is to run a compulsory pit stop but we had members getting stuck in the pit lane so that became a non option as well. Any advice helpful....regards

Oops, I see you've opened 4 complaining threads and a crowd funding request to make your own game. Go for it, it really is surprisingly easy. :)[/QUOTE

But on a serious note Ian have you guys ever thought about releasing a patch for project cars 1 to update the visuals, pc1 is a master piece, best racing game in history, when doing laps at la sarthe I felt like McQueen, for a split second during a race I thought I was McQueen looool

I can think of a few reasons why not.

Live Track 3.0
Rally Cross
Improved Tyre Model

And that's just for starters.

Is PC2 perfect? Nope, but it does improve on PC1 significantly.

With fixed races you have no control of that. I assume often the game is auto-selecting softs when hards might be better? Does the game have some sort of rule re track temps etc about which tyres it selects in fixed tune races?

The new update screwed the 650S GT3, makes the car now 3 secs slower and destroyed the Game for me. And has nothing to do with tyres. Unbelievable.

SMS as usual making the game progessively worse with each patch.

Not to mention tyres smoking like you are at a drift race event , but actually just driving with basic race cars.

They made a few gt3's seconds slower supposedly. Also make sure you redo your tuning setup for each car after this update

There is your key word "few" , cause one guy in my league basically laps the same with his M6 GT3 as he did prior to 3.0.

How deep do you need to go with redoing? I only change fuel load, steering ratios, and tire pressures. The only car I ran last night post patch kept it's same pressures as it had before the patch.

Don't know, I still don't have the patch 👎 I'm echoing what Ian Bell said recently in regards to having to re save setups. Figured your lap times could be affected by that. If everything appears the same in your tune I imagine it is indeed the new balancing of gt3 class.

There was no rebalancing necessary - yeah the Ferraris were fast but that is also nonsense since most folks believe highest vmax = fastest car. Which isnt true. I usually kept Ferrari and even Audi in check with my McLaren. Was a brilliant setup which took tens of hundreds of kilometers to work out.

I run my league with default setups and fuel usage and tyre wear off with no pit stops. I don't know if that is an option you could try, but it works well for me.

Can't say I disagree with you on that one. Would have to see for myself though when patch 3 hits the states

Same here. Running the Mclaren loads. I've been on the tail of many Ferrari's and particularly out of slow corners, they just walk away from you on the straights. Could be me but it's lobbed 2 secs off my times at Barcelona, 2 secs off Rapuna and 3 off Redbull Ring. The Ferrari seems to have an even bigger advantage now.

And yet it was ok as it was, or certainly better.

What lap times at what track with what tires? There’s a lot of McLaren drivers in my league that aren’t 3 seconds slower. You would need the biggest nerf ever heard of and then some to slow a car down by 3 seconds.

I carved it down to 2 secs on Daytona , its 4 secs at Spa. And this whole tyre Thing just ruined the Game. It was all good the way it was.
