leave it as it is.
cars nowadays have more hp than you can handle already.

if you must spend money on the car, spend it on the sound system. having better speakers is always a plus :)

Ethix, did you ever think that he didn't know what GT-R you were talking about? There's the Skyline GT-R, Pulsar GT-R, 323 GT-R, ect...

If i was going to do anything to any car... The first things i would upgrade would be suspension, brakes, and chassis if i felt it was too flimsy or too heavy... I would also do m inor engine and control mods that would make my system a bit more powerful... If you want to have good speakers buy some for your house... as long as there is some music possilbe in your car you will be fine... seems to me if you feel like speakers are real important in a car, youd be better off exporing the grand world of djing or home theaters...

Stillen supercharger. Then add Ground Control coilovers, Stoptech brakes, and 17'' Volks. Anything under 17" looks retarded, anything over does too.

Fair Enough, I guess I wrongly assumed that if somebody was going to say "sell your 2001 Maxima and get a GTR" they were obviously talking about a Skyline. Add to that the fact that he said "if money doesn't matter"..why would he follow that with recommending a 323 or a Pulsar? Oh well, it doesn't really matter.

Considering none of those are even available on North American shores, why would you want to suggest something like that?

And it's a Pulsar GTi-R, btw.

And it isn't a Mazda so cut him some slack.

Well....you can get a Skyline here in the U.S. But you can olny "buy" one in California(spelling)

Ohh cut that crap Cobra, I know more beyond Mazda, I just happen to specialize in Mazda. Sorry if I missed the "i".

And you can import cars, Doug imported a Lancia Delta. For like $26,000 or something insane. :)

Something a bit insaner - like, double that. I'd imagine it'd be much harder for non-UK sourced cars, especially because I imported mine slightly less than legally, though it is legally registered now, so all is good.

If you really, really paid 52 000$ for a Lancia Delta, you're insane. Doug!

No, no - the car was cheap. Including importing, though, it came to be quite expensive. In fact, with the money paid it was a bit of a let-down, and as I now have four cars in Las Vegas I'm getting ready to sell it - it wasn't that cool (or unreliable - nothing's gone wrong with it yet).
