I was planning of playing with my old setup T300RS+TH8A+T500 pedals, but the wheel is a pile os plastic with no working FFB now, sold the shiffter and pedals.

If things go as planned, i'll get a G29.

Thrustmaster T300RS with TH8A shifter, T3PA pedals and TM Leather 28 rim.
Perfect combination! Use nearly the same:
T300RS + TM 28GT Leather Wheel + TH8A Shifter + T3PA-Pro Pedals + Race-Star Alcantara Rig

When I went to the Indianapolis 500, there was a booth running Project cars on PS4s. The wheels they used were Thrustmaster t150s. I liked the feel of them. Plus they're not that expensive compared to other ps4 wheels I've seen. So I'll probably get one of those.

Bought a T300RS a week ago, played 2 days and it was broken already, didn´t calibrate anymore and just wiggled around uncontrollably, but as long as it worked it was great so i´ll sent it back, and now i´m waiting for the new thrustmaster wheel, if its not extremely expensive i´ll buy it if not i´ll give the t300rs another chance since there are not many options left...

Do you have the same problem?

no, my wheel didnt calibrate at all, if i turned the wheel to the left it suddenly spinned to the right then half way back and stayed in that position, the force feedback didnt work anymore and it felt like the motor was broken or something, i searched for a solution but the only option was to send it to thrustmaster...

Can someone post a list of wheels supported for ps4? I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread.
Dunlop, Bridgestone (Firestone in the Americas), Pirelli and Continental. The rest are quite average and may require either ports or software upgrades.

I personally like the Maxxis ones and I have a thing for Michelin.. but ever since they left F1 i felt they have fell out of flavour.

T300RS
TH8A shifter
T3PA Pro pedals

I would have preferred to have gotten Fanatec Clubsport pedals, but wasn't confident that combo would be compatible with PS4, so I stuck with all Thrustmaster.

I rate the logitec G29 over the thrust master for the simple reason of reaction time in relation to car behaviour. With gear driven wheels the moment a car steps out the wheel flicks instantly and that helps to catch slides. This is really stands out in Formula 1 cars and LMP1 cars were power oversteer can be snappy.

The thrust master is smoother and the motor is more powerful.
Logitech G27, G25 have best reliability so both have there merits.

hopefully dfgt if I can find a cheap and reliable way to trick the ps4 that I have forked out for a new wheel.
If you figure that out let me know - I also have a DFGT cannot afford to buy anything else.

Got G27, but sadly there is no easy tricks to attach it to ps4. SO thinking to buy G29 ( but afraid same thing to happen in the future , like with G27 and ps4).

I'm still not happy that my DFGT won;t be supported.
With the Addition of the Gran TurGismo Paddles, and some up-rated spring mods to the pedals, the thing is pretty much perfect.
How do you adjust the springs. I have the DFGT would love to make the pedals more realistic.....

Does the G25 work on PS4?
Not officially, but as always with these things, it was only a matter of time before a hardware hack appeared. As linked to earlier in the thread:
...

In the meantime, don't make a panic purchase and firesale your G27, it might just work on the PS4 with the GIMX adaptor.

I had an old Saitek wheel that was based on Microsoft hardware, and when the driver licence expired with a new operating system, it was simply a case of de-soldering a jumper off one of the boards to turn it into an official MS wheel that was still supported! :D

There is an outside chance that PD will support them unofficially, as they have before - but never before has there been a hardware barrier like Sony has imposed this time because greedy cross-selling tie-ins.

Power to the people long live the g27....

I'm using a g29 with custom pedal mod and springs. I have a Vesaro simulator to add to the immersion.... Just need GT sport now.

I was on t300 but the unreliability and the speed of response to instant slides occur made me choose the G29.

Curiously on the new Direct Drive thrustmaster, but I'm assuming it will be around £600-£800, Ouch....
As soon a it is out will upgrade to that with HPP hydraulic pedal.

I'm about to sell my G27 as they still sell well currently - as much as $300 secondhand. I'll be happy with anything over $225 for mine - which is still practically brand new - but the more the merrier. :)
I can get a new G29 for $398 so that's not too much more than what I should get for the G27. Hopefully I can be behind the wheel again on my PS4 within a couple of weeks and I'll be ready for GT Sport.

EDIT: @Palestinian - how do you find the G29? Much improvement over the G27?

The g29 is a good wheel. Its better then the g27 in that the wheel has magnetic position sensors that is infinitely reliable, it has bigger bearings to better support rotation and longevity of the wheel. The response is very quick, when a slide occurs the initial flick of the wheel is immediate so it's easy to catch a slide. I personally love it. I got mine for £200 which is $300.

The other big deal is that the pedals come with a brake mod, to this I have purchased a stiffer aftermarket brake Spring, and then swapped original brake Spring to clutch and original clutch Spring to throttle Spring. Now all 3 pedals have a crisp return and accidentally riding the throttle while braking is less likely to occur.

I was gonna get thrustmaster t300, but actually like the feel of the G29, plus thrustmaster range has a poor record for reliability.
