What Would GTPlanet Look Like To You

GTP, to me, is like a prison.

The mods and admins are guards.

The GT5 section is for petty crimes like graffiti or shop lifting. The go running around playing gangster but they're really small time crooks.

Moving up to the Gaming and Automotive forums where guys are doing a ten stretch for jacking cars, shootings and heavier stuff which requires a longer sentence. These chaps are real criminals, but like thugs and hooligans.

Inside the Rumble Strip are your non-violent repeat offenders in for embezzlement, money laundering and forgery. These cons keep there head down and get on with their time while maintaining a decent amount of respect from the other cons.

A maximum security section house the premo members, considered so ruthless that they need their own private section. The guys are dong life and have no bones about sucking up to the guards for a favour or two.

In the yard the GT5 section inmates boast about their escapades and brag about how many girls they've nailed. The Games and Automotive crowd hang out by the weights pumping iron and generally making deals with each other for smokes and moonshine. The Rumble Strip men are in the library or workshop, planning a bust out or some other sinister plot amongst themselves. Meanwhile the premo lifers walk around in circles chained together in a 20x20 cage surrounded by the guards who keep and eye on them but are more lenient with them than the others.

So I suppose the banned members are executed?

I picture it as a high-tech and futuristic-looking place.

The kiddies would be off in another room begging for gold chrome paint chips and X1s (RULE: You must refer to the X2010 [and X2011] as 'X1' or you're banned from the big kids table). New members who are below a certain age group will be given a big red sign to wear around their neck that says "n00b" and they can only get rid of it and thus join the big kids club early by acquiring a gold chrome paint chip and a Carbon X1 without doing the Vettel challenges. Those who fail to meet these requirements can still join the big kids once they get a drivers license IRL, but they must still wear the n00b sign on Mondays.

The average racers have their own lobby where they can communicate openly and organize races and schtuff. Nothing super interesting happens here, but it is a calm, mature, and respectful place to be.

Photographers would be in their own separate area with a gallery to show off their latest photos while the video guys would be in a studio doing video guy things.

The basement would hold all of the "underground" gamers who have abandoned GT5 all together and live peacefully in their own area, secluded from the world they once knew.

Then at the very top would be the elites: the legends we all know by name here and the moderators. They sit above and watch the n00bs and decide their fate as well as the fate of the colony as a whole.

And there's free Red Bull and pizza and every Thursday is "Dress Like A Pony Day". And the carwashes work EXACTLY like they did in GT4 where they spin around really quickly and stuff and the oil changes sound super weird as well.

On the plus side, while you're scratching your head as to how the service(s) you've paid for actually work, at least the music is good. :P
