What Would GTPlanet Look Like To You

Can't forget the TGAT patrons, either; a separate door off the 3rd floor with Japanese lettering leads into a rave-style room where they hang out.

Haha, this thread rocks. Also, I'll take the liberty to describe the anime area, since no one that hangs out in there is brave enough to venture outise the thread and into the forums but me, AOS and Goddin.

You enter, and there is a stupid-big screen with theater-like sound system showing anime non stop, with several of those big, supercomfy individual couches. Individual because no one there has a girl so they sit forever alone as you might imagine. Tons of japanese snacks, japanese food and japanese beverages abound in japanese vending machines that have been hacked to work for free. Each wall is adorned with something:

1 - the widest and most free of stuff wall has a mural collage painting depicting several anime characters/moments/millestones
2 - floor-to-ceiling furtniture filled to capacity with anime DVDs/Bds and manga, free for the taking.
3 - a sushi/ramen bar, where Lol-blade serves. In the wall there are anime posters and all that stuff
4 - at the sides of the stupid-big screen are shelves with several figurines. These are the small ones however, as in the center of the room are about 5 all-glass shelves with illumination filled with figurines too, so you can walk around them and admire them to the fullest.

Of course there are videogame consoles, and out back are three big work areas for the people who draw and build figures, complete with Wacoms and all the tools. And anime music is always playing when there isn't a watch session.

Yep. So creepy.

GTPlanet would be like a high rise with a spectrum of technology. On the top would be the executives with their mysterious banning technology. Just below that would the the VIPs who had to pay to get just a bit closer with the executives. And then there's the normal people.

It looks to me a large community of Gran Turismo lovers where everything almost perfectly works without much problems, and serves me as teaching lessons to be in obedience to general rules and etiquette and how to rub shoulders with other visitors from various countries nicely.

This is how I would see it:

:D

Each continent is dot-shaped. I would be a traveller going around the planet, each time I visit, though I'd tend to avoid the GT5 continents due to the constant threat of conflict :(

My favourite place on the planet would be the Rumble continent. The place where people who long spend time on the planet, and are the most mature will remain. At first, it seem be a bit tough to survive without getting ticketed, but at the end of the day, you feel changed and enlightened for the better 👍

The black seas are ruled by modsters, flying advertisements and the like :sly:

You walk in the front door and come in to a large lobby with marble floor with the logo engraved into it, where you are greeted at reception and given a complimentary AUP leaflet.

You take the elevator to the first floor, known as the Games floor. Their is a long corridor with doors down the side with names like Gran Turismo 5, iRacing, and Console and PC Gaming on them. This is the family friendly area that it is intended for children. At each door of each floor there is a bouncer carrying a baanhammer if you're naughty. Gran Turismo 5 is the largest room in the building, basically a massive playpen. The other rooms are comparatively empty, but their is still plenty of atmosphere in them.

The second floor is the Online Events floor. There are three rooms and a large billboard at the end of the corridor showing events timetables. Each room is filled with computers, person-to-person dialogue is at a minimum.

The third floor is the Automotive floor. This one is full of show rooms where people can display their own cars, and it also includes a balcony which overlooks the local race tracks, which just happens to host Formula 1, WRC, NASCAR, Sports Car Racing, Touring Cars, Motorcycles, and more!

Things begin to change in the very extensive fourth floor. It includes a cinema, a disco, an electronics room, and a bar with leather couches and a jazz pianist where people discuss, politics, religion, and world affairs.

There is then a grand staircase that leads up the to Rumble Strip. This is the most relaxed and easy-going part of the building. It's mainly intended for people to kick back, introduce themselves, watch the game, have a laugh, and really be themselves. At the end of the corridor there is a large door with an electronic lock that simply says 'The Infield, authorised access only.' One must be granted the password to enter, and are immediately banished if they reveal it's secrets.

The top floor is Jordan's penthouse. For most of the day he isn't to be disturbed, but from time to time people ma visit him if they have a complaint about the building. Few people make it past his Administrative Bodyguards though.

It'd be a huge mansion.

As you wander in there's a long corridor filled with doors. The very first door you come to is the GT5 section. Toddlers are running about throwing food and cuddly toys at each other, while some are taking photographs with wind-up cameras (photo section), some are having sprint races (drag section) and some are walking around sideways (drift section).

Then there's a little ladder leading to the attic, where the previous and forgotten GT games reside.

After that is the other sections. iRacers are in groups laughing about GT5, while the occasional fanboy who snuck in is desperately defending their precious PS3. A large room filled with all different people, all sat on different groups of chairs in groups, discussing their favourite games.

Next there's a staircase leading downstairs, to the Automotive section. One area is filled with concepts and the newest cars, which is the news section. Next is an area filld with random cars, with members showing off their rides, and the occasional person 'My Bugatti's in the garage right now, but I own one, honest!', which are the Cars in General/Members Rides sections.. Finally there's a group of race cars and a little Go-Kart track, plus maps and pictures of famous circuits, filled with people discussing Motorsports.

Finally there's the Off-Topic section. The Rumble Strip is a lounge, with people sat sipping drinks and discussing their day, their hobbies and telling stories. The Opinions and Current Events is a bar, filled with people having intelligent discussions and drinking fine wines. There is then a room filled with computers, TVs, iPods, iPads, and people building computers or inquiring about problems they are having with technology. The Music section is a room filled with people lounging about listening to music, and a small recording studio. The Films and TV section is a home cinema, filled with DVDs.

At the end is a door guarded by a bouncer. If you are granted premium you are escorted to a pool where there are people ordering free drinks, girls dance in bikinis and there are a few drunks in the corner rambling about things, while other stuff non-premos could only dream of goes on. :D

Finally, is a seemingly innocent bookcase which is actually a door. But it is a door so secure only a select few can open it. Behind the door lies secret technology, like the BanHammer!(tm) and infinite supplies of padlocks...

The only change I would make is that the Films and TV section is multiple rooms, there's the rainbow door (Brony thread), and some sort of anime door, and then there's the main room where everything else is.

Also a sports bar.

I picture it as a street block. All the trolls and the GT5 section are like a youth center. The older games section is like a house out of the seventies, with shaggy carpet and stuff. The Rumble Strip is like the back alley, where people like to chill with their buddies. The sports section is like a bar. The Infield is like the fancy exotic car dealership, where some think they are better than others, or give off that aura. The opinions section is like the coffee shop, where people discuss what's happening. And the help desk or whatever it's called now is like the police/fire station. Where authority figures uphold the law or help people when they need assistance. The sewers would be where the banned users are.

No, the Brony section should be some stables out back. :sly:

No! We will not go outdoors and over to the stables. There are GT5ians locked out there! :P

Let's all be as realistic about the 'Bronies' as we can, they don't go outside. They don't leave their computer monitors with access to all the Pony streaming etc. Maybe a small room built onto the back of the house, but no windows with views of the real world. Plus a play table with rainbows and a nice stream and all the Ponies as well. ;)

But you are fans of a cartoon Pony program, so why not? :P

And anyway, they could be converted stables or something...

GTP, to me, is like a prison.

The mods and admins are guards.

The GT5 section is for petty crimes like graffiti or shop lifting. The go running around playing gangster but they're really small time crooks.

Moving up to the Gaming and Automotive forums where guys are doing a ten stretch for jacking cars, shootings and heavier stuff which requires a longer sentence. These chaps are real criminals, but like thugs and hooligans.

Inside the Rumble Strip are your non-violent repeat offenders in for embezzlement, money laundering and forgery. These cons keep there head down and get on with their time while maintaining a decent amount of respect from the other cons.

A maximum security section house the premo members, considered so ruthless that they need their own private section. The guys are dong life and have no bones about sucking up to the guards for a favour or two.

In the yard the GT5 section inmates boast about their escapades and brag about how many girls they've nailed. The Games and Automotive crowd hang out by the weights pumping iron and generally making deals with each other for smokes and moonshine. The Rumble Strip men are in the library or workshop, planning a bust out or some other sinister plot amongst themselves. Meanwhile the premo lifers walk around in circles chained together in a 20x20 cage surrounded by the guards who keep and eye on them but are more lenient with them than the others.

Well GTP Is more like a Mansion When you go to the Front door you are greeted with A Sign in procedures When you go inside there Is A Reception which is the AUP Then there is a Corridor When you go through it there is a large room on your right When you get into it (you better not to ) There are Naughty kids and idiots fighting each other with firearms That the GT5 Forum along inside it of course are the subforums of GT5 Which are basically doors

And when you continue there is an another door You get into it & Will see people Playing PS1 & PS2

You continue you will see a third door Full of non GT Related video games any way Skip that When you pass the Corridor You will Be in a Giant Showroom With showroom decorations stuff and lightning & You guessed it Cars in general you willl see me hanging out there

Moving on You will Go through A Large door You get into it and you are inside a huge living room and people inside chatting about random things (Rumble strip )

And lastly You are going to encouter A Door which written On it ( Beat it Staff only you got 20 seconds or you will die )

There is a stairs get up And you will find lot of rooms those are The Users Apartments
