I always found this irritating in previous games. I want to be able to buy all the cars, even if some of them cost 100,000,000 credits or something absurd.

Instead of a prize car they should give you a voucher good for up to X Credits and you should have a "Pay with voucher" option when buying any car.

I will be dissapointed if:

1) They dont include "Race modification" per GT2 (or something similar, livelry or something)

2) They dont include the R31 Skyline, my favourite car :)

Everything else, im happy with - even if this was a bigger version of GT5 Prologue with no changes :)

I cannot answer that question, because I don`t have it yet!
Yes you can. The OP didn't ask; What DO you find dissapointing in GT5? but instead he asked; What WOULD you find dissapointing in GT5?

That's how I understand it but I can be wrong though.

But thats what makes certain cars special.

Precisely!
It also provides the incentive to win the race, or series.
I've never looked upon it as a bad thing, but rather part of the GT way which adds to the challenge and interest factor.

A 'My chemical romance' song opening when I start one of my most beloved series.

Oh come on, like a LENNY KRAVITZ song was any better.

I'm disappointed every time I turn on a GT game and it doesn't play Moon Over the Castle...though I really did like the US opening of GT2.

What I will find disapointing in GT5 mainly pertains to online play. In GT5P online games, many people cut the track for an advantage. The 4 second penalty isn't enough, if it was they wouldn't cut the track. Since the game is trying to be as realistic as possible then impose a black flag penalty. The car needs to pit for a stop and go within so many laps or they are disqualified.

As far as regular GT5 play, I found some cars unrealistically fast in GT5P.

1. If they don't include the Porsche GT2 RS (fastest production Porsche to date)
2. Currently disappointed that all Forza fans state GT5 got delayed really quickly after mentioning any new features it has. (friends without brain cells)
3. I hope they include information on how to tune cars for drifting, since drifting changed over the last games and is much more in-depth; I'd rather night have to buy a guide for this; and I'd rather be taught by the creators than have to read somebody else's tips and (try, fix, try again etc.)
4. If in game graphics and gameplay doesn't follow trailers given for example the Ferrari 458 video; I hope all the premium cars have the same amount of detail as theres cars.
5. I know people complain about this but I hope the rushing of this game for release due to the the delay and upset fans doesn't destroy any features of the game if they had enough time to sharpen up all the rough edges

Only potential worry is the online. I only had gt5p for a short while and wasn't online at all at the time. I've no doubt the single player will be amazing though. If they stick to the same formula they have with previous games I'll be happy with it.

I'll be disappointed if I can't just turn off the HUD. It'd take 5 minutes for them to allow this via programming and if they didn't find time for that in those three extra days I will be saddened.

SL65 AMG Back Series love that car and tuning part of the game has to be updated I'm a rotary guy and have been waiting for PD to start showing some rotary mods and the ultimate mod ever for any car the 20B 3 ROTOR.

How can the e30 keep getting overlooked?

Im wondering the same thing ?

PS: Here is something to wash up your eyes :P

The one thing that would dissapoint me is if the engine sounds haven't been updated, if Forza can replicate decent sounds so do GT5, hopefully...

If it doesn't come out by the end of November.

Once it comes out, I will be disappointed if mechanical damage isn't done well.

If there isn't more F1 than Ferrari and Red Bull.

If 16 cars is the max in NASCAR.

If the pit stops aren't as good as they look like they could be.

If the number of tracks with day/night and weather is less than 5.

If standards and premiums cannot play together.

A lot of these will be disappointments though. But these will be things that I will hope for in GT6.

Edit: If Spa and a Rebuilt Monaco don't make it... I'll be surprised and disappointed.

Well it appears that my rebuilt Monaco may not have to be on my list anymore. :)

What would I find disappointing?

If there was a Forza 3 disk inside the GT5 cover...

I lol'd so hard.

what would I find dissapointing? If GT5 is not around as good as iRacing.

(Physics can be a tiny bit worse if they want to cuz GT5 has weather and day/night cycles.) I think that GT5 will smash iRacing. (Projected to sell, what, 10 million copies? iRacing only has 30,000 members and I'm one of 'em )

Also that 458 Challenge made me

Ill be dissapointed if it feels like the car is driving down amazing smooth roads no matter which course or what car you drive.

GT5p was dissapiontingly numb when driving down strights like you could fall to sleep, but from the latest demo it looks very much the same.

SAD because the sensation of road surface is what make games like R Factor exciting.:grumpy:

I don't think anything this game can disappoint me... At this point the actual release of the game will surpass my expectations...:sly:
