no drink holder during 24hr Le Mans. Joke

only disappointment would be another delay ... which has already happened, so ...
- GT5 Not being released in 2010, but some random date on 2011 =/

Well, it seems that might happen sorry to say. But we'll have to find out in a few days 👎

If it doesn't come out by the end of November.

Once it comes out, I will be disappointed if mechanical damage isn't done well.

If there isn't more F1 than Ferrari and Red Bull.

If 16 cars is the max in NASCAR.

If the pit stops aren't as good as they look like they could be.

If the number of tracks with day/night and weather is less than 5.

If standards and premiums cannot play together.

A lot of these will be disappointments though. But these will be things that I will hope for in GT6.

Edit: If Spa and a Rebuilt Monaco don't make it... I'll be surprised and disappointed.

I'm hoping Spa is in, haven't seen it yet.
I also hope the dealerships are all available at the same time, not as in GT:PSP.
Would really piss me off if they did that

I'd be disappointed if we cant look back in a mid engined car and see the engine actually moving on the mountings when we rev it, change gear etc, i know abit trivial but it is a simulator so i guess it would detract abit for me anyways, and if we didnt have the original mini in the game its still a better car than the bmw mini any day of the week, and id be kinda dissapointed if we didnt get to add decals and such on our cars to make them look like real racing cars even using generic logos and positioning id be happy with

Monaco / Cote de azure is missing.. that would be dreadful..

Bad online issues.. (Lag, disconnects, long distance servers - please please please allow local hosting)

No LAN mode.. (this would seriously suck for the LAN party scene)

I would find it dissapointing to see a kid playing GT5 using autobrake and rewind features*.

They should be taught how to race properly by a older sibling or parent, the rewards they would game from being able race properly would be so great that they'll be GT fans forever.

*not confirmed, and i hope never will be.

I would find it disappointing if it was delayed again!! .. or you couldn't tune the audio to make the buttkickers kick on rumble strips etc.. rather than the wind noise.

Just the fact that after five long years that's it's not released yet is the thing I find most dissapointing.

One of the most dissapointing things for me would be if they do not have custom public lobbies online. I absolutely hate the hopper system in Forza 3.

I would also be dissapointed if El Capitan or Seattle tracks are not there. I really miss driving on those.

They only thing they need to be careful of with DLC is not not milk it too much. That means not releasing wave after wave of "standard > premium" conversions. A few of those is fine, but leave that to GT6. They also don't want to go releasing every new car that launches, because that would further diminish the value in GT6. Tracks though...you can never have too many, and I'd love to see tracks and game modes/challenges being the focus of DLC rather than the cars.
Wow, really? I'd prefer they upgrade every car to premium before they release GT6, if only because I'm OCD.

Also, I'd love it if they brought back, via DLC or otherwise, some of the great unique cars from GT2 - Espace F1, Tigra Ice Race Car, Cultus Pikes Peak, etc. Not to mention the Chrysler Phaeton (serious fun) and Plymouth PT Spyder (handles like a dream)

License tests where gold seems to be always 5 tenths away from my best time.

That's a personal disappointment.

Cars that can only be won never bought, sure make them hard to obtain but some cars i know i'll never be able to get because i'll never be able to gold an entire license. That's just me however and i'm sure many will disagree with me.

Just a word of encouragement.

Your best time hasn't been run yet.

If your 5 tenths away, start over, reload another ghost, but keep looking for where you can improve.

Keep trying until you get to 3 or 4 tenths.

Repeat until you hit the magic mark.

I know its not easy, and can be very frustrating and discouraging, but it can always be done.

That last bit has always been a pain for me too, even back in GT1 and the unpurchaseable Copperhead. I understand making them win-only at first, but once we've won it, we should be able to purchase other copies if we so desire. I don't want to re-run a race a dozen times for the colour of car I want.

I imagine GT5 will be similar to Prologue by allowing us to download the top times, even for license tests. That could at least make it easier for people to have a ghost easily available, I would think 👍

What'd be really cool was if the game could produce a new blue/red racing line based on the ghost downloaded...

I'll be disappointed if cars really do roll over as easily as the Fiat 500 does in that Japanese TV show video. It looks ridiculous.
