If you have the North American version, you'll find you can't reach 100.0% if you didn't do Driving Mission 1 before any of the other Driving Missions.
Otherwise, you've missed something.
Print off the Prize Car List from our Wiki and go to your game diary. Manually tick off EVERY car on the list that the diary says you have won. The car you haven't won tells you what you've missed.

This is a good check, but be aware that your diary only goes back 2920 days (8 game years) so any cars you've won more than 2920 game days ago won't be in the diary. Also, doublecheck all series races again even if you've won the prize car since you can win the prize car without winning all the races.
If you're experiencing the Mission 1 glitch, unfortunately you're screwed. Incidentally I've tried to replicate that glitch in the NTSC version and haven't been able to do so.

Did you do Mission 1 after doing some other mission?

You missed winning 1 race in a championship somewhere. Look in your diary for a race that does not have a red entry (stamp). I would say you got a third somewhere as bronze trophy looks almost the same as gold.

Just check the Prize Car list against your garage. If you're missing a Prize Car (other than the Black F1), that's the championship you haven't done.

could someone explain this to me:
I`ve had 99,8% for a **** long time, and then just for fun i raced the all european cup (regardless of name, the first european thing=)
This was not the first time, and I had all golds, but the second time i did it out of the blue it said 100% and a well worth waited for black formula una car was delivered to my garage....Anyone knows?????

You either had a rogue bronze trophy that looks very similar to the gold, or had run the series before as single races, so were missing the series trophy.
As the single most asked question on these forums, would it not make sense to sticky a thread such as this outside of the FAQ threads to make it as easy as possible for newbies to find? I have been wanting to say this for ages, but every time I see the question asked again, the thread has already been locked.

For 100% completion I need to do the Alfa Romeo one make race and to do that I also need the 1000 miles tournament. After that I have the Formula GT Championship and 5 or 6 endurance races (the names escape me now). I think I am at 94.2%

Recheck everything. You're missing... 4 races. Bronzes look like golds and championship races must all be won as well for 100%.
Could be driving missions as well.

Welcome to GTPlanet, Julian. Check all 500+ races, but the possibility is that you completed a certain "series" of races by winning them one-by-one, instead if winning the championship of the series.
Losing a championship via a lower point total, yet going back to win the races does not count towards total percentage.
However, winning the said championship, even if you do not win all the races, CAN be completed towards percentage if late win the races separately.
• Make sure you did not miss any races.
• A common error mistaking a bronze trophy for a gold trophy.
• Also, make sure you have passed every license test (bronze is sufficient, in this case).

Expanding on Pupik's suggestions; check the Mission Hall to make sure you've cleared all those.
Also on the topic of missions, in some games there's a glitch where if you didn't do Mission 1 first, that mission won't count for completion percentage. If you've checked and EVERYTHING is ok, then this may be your problem. Unfortunately, the only way to fix this is to restart the game.
