I "upgraded" the Samba Bus today to get a win with it (Brand's Hatch Indy).
Spent a fortune on parts on got the HP up to a whopping 98!
Did all the engine stuff - polished bits, semi-racing camshaft, re-bore etc.
Added racing brakes, adjustable suspension, computer..... PP well over 300!
Didn't adjust height or anything, just added bits. Didn't change the gearbox. Using auto, not manual.

So started, rolling, doing about 75KM/h, then at the very fist incline the speed dropped off to about 25 kmh and didn't pick up going down the hill.
The next uphill part it dropped off to - stopped! It wouldn't move again.🤣

Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on with it???

Did you lower the ride height a lot ? If you do it on some cars the wheel can touch the car body under some conditions.

If you did, try bringing the ride height up to max and check if it's happening again.

Thanks both for chipping in - I tried it again half an hour later and it was fine.
I think it might have been something to do with having the controller connected at the same time as the wheel - although the steering from the wheel was fine. And pretty sure when I pressed the accelerator the engine revved too - but as though it was out of gear.
Which it can't have been because it was in auto...... mystified.

Mods, please delete if this is wasting server space - it seem to be "one of those things" that I haven't been able to repeat.

I've had situations where the left trigger of my controller was pressed in somewhat, which meant I was dragging the brakes. D'OH!
