So which 'general' Skyline is your favorite? Be specific in your post.

I agree that in 1989 the R32 was the most dominant car in the world for a year or two. Australia banned it from racing so their V8's could win again. I miss the super HICAS. Sanjyuuni represent.

OK, it's the KPGC10. Looks awesome. I'll admit, the KPCG110 fastback looks great, almost like an American/Australian car (not sure which but whenever I see it I think "Mad Max"... and I've never seen any of the movies), but my general philosophy at this time is that notchback >>>>> hatchback or fastback in most cases.

I'm hard pressed to chose my favourite skyline. I've always liked the look of the R32, so I i'll vote for that.

I've never wanted a tattoo in my life but I like that a lot. Is it real ? Is it yours. ?

Not mine, I just Googled "DS3" and that image came up.

I drove the Flaken GTR and the Nismo R-Tune stock this morning before work. The Falken was actually a really fun car to drive stock with no tune. The R-Tune was just sloppy and slow. Could use some tweeking.

I like the one with the round taillights. Next question please.

You've driven one, you've driven them all.

These must be the blandest, most uninteresting cars in the game, from a driving perspective. It takes a lot to get some excitement out of these heavy, 4wd, not particularly fast cars. I can't fathom why there are so many in the game. Must be a Japanese thing, I guess.

I voted for the R33. The Nismo 400R (R33) is a beast and I'm waiting for it to show up in the UCD, I've always loved that car. The normal R33 is nice too, it looks subtle but still aggressive.

@brambos : You've just described the current Audi line-up.

This happens to come only from a guy, who´s never really made a comparison between those. But taking the freedom to judge about their behaviour on track.
A stock will be different to a Nür Spec will be different to a N1, to a VSpec and surely to a 400R. Why this is the case would take too long to describe it for you.

I guess you´re a su**er for Audis which is a good thing in general. But then have a comparison in weight e.g. to the R8 my friend, before you start talking about heavy cars.

Don´t get me wrong, I like the Audis in the game, but they´re just not the only spearhead of automotive technology.

I´d even claim to say that with equal PP a Sky could anytime crush an R8 ;)

And yes, it IS a Japanese thing since they´re manufactured there. In contrast to the Audis, which most of them are assembled in Hungary. Heck, even their engineering department in Györ might be bigger than that one in Ingolstadt. After being shipped to Germany, they throw in a few carpets, finally being stamped as "Made In Germany" :)

I guess you're actually right to some extent. But in real life I don't drift my car around tracks all day. In other words: I buy my Audis for their looks, stunning interiors (hey, I'm a designer, I care about that stuff :) ) and everyday driving characteristic, not for their racing potential.

In a racing game I tend to prefer FR and MR over 4WD most of the time. And the Skylines don't really give me warm fuzzy feelings. I simply don't think they're all that special considering the insane number of Skylines we get to choose from.

Each to their own. I guess Japanese styling and driving doesn't really resonate with me 👍

p.s. add me on PSN, I'll send you the Nismo 400R. I have a silver one, off the top of my head.

I wish I could. I don't have proper broadband, just slow mobile broadband and I can't connect my PS3 to it. :(

I like Audi's, I just thought it was a bit odd to slate Skyline's for being heavy and 4WD. I can understand your point though, they are heavy things and are prone to understeer at times.

Actually the Nissan GT-R R35 isn't a skyline.
If it was I would choose the Nissan GT-R V-Spec '09, but since that's not a skyline I'm going with the Blitz Dunlop ER34 (D1GP) '07

C10 and C110 because they are timeless classics. C110 looks so beautiful.

R34 and R35, because, they're just killers.

The bnr mines skyline is a dream to drive, grip monster!

I've never been a huge Skyline fan (I wouldn't even know about it if I'd never played GT), but the aforementioned car drives amazingly. It has less understeer than any other 4WD car I've driven in gt5. I love Subarus and Evos, but the Mine's Skyline BNR34 GT-R N1 Base '06 is my favorite 4WD car in the game. I've used it for several endurance races because it's fun to drive and tire wear is pretty even.
