Whats your favorite type of race car?

I've been searching for a while now and still didnt find a thread like this. What is your favorite type of race car? My favorite type of race car is the JGTC GT500 class. I pick these because they are well balanced for thier 480-510HP that they produce. They also come with adjustable downforce up to 50 front and 70 rear. My favorite JGTC is the 2001 Toyota Castrol Tom's Supra JGTC due to it's color choice and clean look. It also has a nice sound coming from it's engine. So whats your favorite? Just curious...

I actually can't choose! Although my favorite type of car is the road legal one, I wouldn't refuse to watch any those race cars....I like Formula 1 for their power and sound, rally cars for their amazing explosiveness and suspension technology, JGTC cars for their balance, LMP cars for their endurance. I just love them all!

I dislike race/touring cars.

Why? is it because you are so used to 300MPH Supras and Skylines? Without racecars you couldn't get very far in this game.

DTM. Those cars are so rewarding to drive. They are fast in a straight line and seem to be the best cars for cornering this side of an F1 car. It is really easy to beat AI piloted LM road cars.

Second choice, rally cars on pavement. They seem very balanced and quite easy to drive.

I love GT cars ...anything that resembles something i could possibly drive since i work in a mechanic's shop and drive a decent variety of cars


It always makes me smile when a Corvette, Evo Lancer, Miata or something of that nature comes thru and i get to work or test drive it. Then i come home and RACE one while sitting in my armchair

I don't like LM cars too much...since they're not entirely based on reality. I rarely drive F1 or other supercars unless the race series dictates that i do. 👍 goood poll.

I don't know. GT2 and 3 all the LM cars are fantasy cars, but i'm new to GT4 so i don't know if they changed the rules. LM cars are what could be possible, but they don't actually exist in real-life (not the ones in earlier games, anyways).

Touring cars on the other hand (and JGTC, DTM, etc) are based on reality.

I miss driving a MR Honda CRX LM... Those were the good ol' days... So far I think all LM's are still fake if the stuff I read is correct...

I like F1 & Rally Cars, but i am first and foremost a Touring Car fan. I'm not so interested in high performance street cars.
