Well, mom's Mini has overtaken the Lexus in the mileage race. Keep in mind the Mini is an '06, and the Lexus is an '02. :dunce:

Mini Cooper S '06: 73,500 miles
Lexus LS430 '02: 72,000 miles
 
My Hilux Surf has done a mighty 306,800km within its 21 year life. All of them without skipping a beat. :D

My parents think so. They never drive a vehicle for more than 5 years without buying a new one. Most of the time the vehicle fails to make it four years before we buy a new one. We don't buy used vehicles either. My mom just chooses to get a new car, but my dad gets paid by the mile when he drives for business so he can't have a car older than four years. Ha after a year here in Buffalo NY, your new car ages a couple years each winter. We don't plow up here, we salt, and salt, till the budget won't let us buy anymore.
 
I just recently hit 50,000 in my 2005 Subaru Imprezs. When I bought the car in 2009 it only had 27,000 miles. So I have been driving the car about 8,300 miles per year.
