vroom Corvette into pit wall on L2. Got out one minute and (about) six seconds later!
End of L5 Supra suddenly brakes (for pit entry) - i slam my brakes on and very narrowly avoid hitting back of 350Z which i was following. And when i mean very narrowly... Very good battle beforehand with the WRX, Supra and 350Z. WRX leads.
350Z takes lead midway through L6 - WRX loses three places to Z, Elise and myself. 350Z pits, i have lead for about four seconds until the Elise takes me on the first corner. The RB26 proved too powerfull down the back straight however.
It's L7 - i now lead and lap the Corvette as it enters the pit lane.
It's L8 - i take my first pit stop. Come out fourth behind the 350Z (3rd), Supra (2nd) and Elise (1st).
It's L10 - Supra pits from second.
It's L12 - 350Z pits from second.
It's L15 - Elise still leading (me) by nine seconds.
Elise now in my sight while it takes the right hander onto the back straight. It finally pits here on L17. I take over lead.
It's L19 - i lap the Corvette for the second time and the 350Z pits...

vroom 350Z got lead on L1.
It's L3 - i'm in fourth place. WRX takes lead back from 350Z.
It's L4 - me and Supra fight over third place (for 3-4 laps). WRX and 350Z argue over first (for 4+ laps).
It's L6 - 350Z, WRX and GT-R pit. I gain a position on the 350Z in the pits! (i knew that pay rise to the pit crew would pay dividends!) Come out third after the Supra (2nd) and Elise (1st).
It's L9 - i get lead from 350Z (i forgot to note when "he" got past me and the lead!).
I follow the Corvette into the pits on L13 and the Z follows. I *just* keep the lead from the Supra.
It's L19 - 350Z, WRX, Elise and Corvette all pit in. (i haven't recorded when the Supra pits!) Corvette 1L down.
It's L20 - 350Z passes Supra, for second place, on the last corner! The Elise is the only car to not lap the Corvette (they both came up the main straight, for the final time, together though).

vroom It's L3 -350Z takes lead from WRX. I'm in fourth place. I take third from the Supra over the cobblestones on the back of the track. WRX takes the lead back from the 350Z ofter the Colloseum.
I take the WRX on the back straight after the Z got him under braking at the first corner, L4. I've now got to catch the Z.
One lap later on L5 (i think) i steal the lead from the 350Z down the back straight thanks to the pure power of the RB26DETT!
It's L9 - i take my first pit stop. Come out and just hold onto the lead. 350Z is 1.1 seconds away in second place.
It's L11 - i lose the lead mid way through the lap. Grab it back around second last corner just to have it taken from me on the main straight (damn slipstream).
I get back into first on the straight before the Colloseum, L12, but the Happy Faced Gold Monster takes it away from me after the Colloseum!
It's L13 - the Godzilla has had enough. It's hungry for the lead so concentrates all it's power in it's huge muscle - the RB26 - down the back straight. The Z just isn't strong enough!
On L14 myself and the Z make a pit stop.
For the six remaining laps of the race the 350Z keeps an average following distance of three seconds from me.

vroom It's L2 - the Supra and WRX were no match for the GT-R down the main straight. Gain two places into third.
Corvette and 350Z in front. Pass Corvette at the end of the tunnel before starting L3. Corvette pits (every single race he pits every two laps...).
It's L4 - i have caught the 350Z and pass him on the outside through the 'esses' (those windy corners which would have been part of GT2's Clubman Stage Route 5). No contact is made (as is the same for most of the races).
It's L9 - mighty American muscle is no match for Japanese power. Corvette one lap down.
It's L12 - i take my first pit stop.
I lap the boxer engined Impreza on L18. Oil light comes on.
It's L19 - and the Toyota Supra proves that it is no match for the Nissan Skyline. One lap down.
Elise did not pit.

I make no pit stop. Front tyres are orange, back yellow. Was quite an average/quiet race. I should have pitted to make it more exciting. (and so i could talk about it more!) Corvette getting lapped in his home country? Thou shall bow thy head in shame!!

judgement day Race organisers restrict power of GT-R from 305 hp to 300 hp to still try to make racing closer.
vroom From the start of the race (i never recorded what laps these events happened...) to L5 i got third from the Supra after he went to play in the sand at turn two. I no longer have power advantage over any car thanks to the restrictions of the race organisers. (geez! Wake up guys - this thing has more than power...) I grab second place from the Impreza as he takes the second last corner too wide.
It's L5 - 350Z, GT-R, WRX and Supra pit in. Elise takes over lead.
About a lap or two later (didn't record it) 350Z and GT-R start gaining time on Elise. Has 14 second lead from me, 350Z about 8 seconds away from me in second.
It's L8 - Elise is roughly 11 seconds away with 350Z closing fast.
It's L9 - Elise and 350Z fight over who gets to lead the race. Both of them in my sights (further up) as i enter back straight. Z wins the fight and takes over the lead on the long right hander after the back straight. I enter pits.
I come out on L10 in fifth place. 350Z, Supra and WRX pit in at the end of the lap. Lotus takes lead and runs with it. Z gets out of pits in front of me which rewards me with third place.
It's L15 - the Gold Monster pits and i take over second.
The next lap, L16 (well it couldn't be anything less could it?), the Elise pits in giving me the race lead.
It's L19 - 350Z takes over second place, which relegates the Elise to third.
It's L20 - The Corvette gets eaten by the Godzilla for the second time.

judgement day Race organisers ring up AVESCO to ask how to slow the GT-R down. They reply "Ban it! It's the only way! Or just take the wheels off it mate!" Race organisers don't like either idea. They give up. ANOTHER VICTORY FOR GODZILLA!!!!
vroom It's L1 - Elise leads the pack from the startline all the way to the bottom of the back straight where he concequencly (sp?) ruins it by running into the wall at the bottom resulting in a loss of four places. Resumes in front of Supra and behind GT-R for fifth place.
It's L2 - Supra gets a run on me up the main straight (power+slipstream) and makes an attempt to pass me under braking on the first corner but backs off. 350Z takes lead from Corvette. I pass the Corvette on the tight left hander after the second tunnel. He then makes a pit stop.
Supra tries to get third place from me on L3 down the main straight but once again backs off under braking (i'm glad the AI do this at this track if they are on the inside of you). WRX goes wide on tight left hander after second tunnel - before third, i get second place from him.
It's L4 - WRX tries to pass down the main straight (as Supra had attempted for the past two laps) but backs off and gets caught by Supra. Supra attempts to take third from him down back straight but hits the wall at the bottom. (after the WRX pushed/rode him into it)
It's L6 - 350Z, GT-R, Supra and WRX all take a pit stop. Once again my pit crew do an excellent job and i get out in front of the Z, who i followed in! All the while the Elise has taken over the lead.
On L11 i snatch first place from the Elise over the start/finish line.
It's L14 - i take my second pit stop and keep second place from the 350Z. Elise leads again.
From L15 to L19 i race really hard out (sticking to the track of course) to try to catch the Elise.
It's L20 - I finally catch up to and get behind the Lotus then outbraked him into the first corner clinching the lead.
The Elise did no pit stops throughout the race.

vroom Fought for fifth place with the Elise for about one lap (during L1 and L2). Eventually got past.
It's L4 - i take a pit stop. I shouldn't have... Come out in fifth - 21 seconds away from 350Z.
It's L6 - i pass the start finish line 37+ seconds away from the Z. Still fifth.
On L6 the 350Z and WRX pit. I'm still fifth but have caught up with WRX (yes i was that far behind).
The Supra leads the race and pits at the end of L7.
It's L8 - myself and the WRX pass the Supra as it is leaving the pits. I'm now in fourth with the Supra and Corvette trailing.
It's L9 - Impreza passes the Elise at the first hairpin bend (left). I get third from the Elise after the left turn in the tunnel. 350Z getting further away. Now a 20 second gap.
I pass the WRX in the first hairpin on L10. Start catching 350Z.
From second position i enter pit lane on L11. Come out in fifth place.
It's L12 - 350Z pits from the race lead. WRX follows. I get past the WRX while he's in the pits and claim fourth place.
Godzilla passes the Elise on the outside, under braking, for the last corner to get into third place on lap 13.
It's L14 - GT-R takes second from the Toyota Supra at the last corner.
A lesson. Never look away from the road for any lengthy amount of time while driving. I did so on L17 and ended up entering pit lane...
It's L18 - i pass the Elise to take the final podium position. Pass the Impreza for second place while it pits.
Supra gets past Elise at some stage to become third.

vroom In fourth on L4 when i pass the WRX for third between the second and third tunnels after he runs wide. I pass the Supra at the tight left hairpin corner but he has the power to pass me back before the last corner. Even with me slipstreaming him up the main straight he still gets away.
It's L5 - i finally get past the Supra in the second corner/s. (s-bend) 8.0 seconds away from the Happy Faced Goldilocks.
350Z, GT-R, WRX and Supra pit in at the end of this lap.
I come out of the pits and get overtaken by the Elise before the first corner as he carries more speed down the main straight. It's now L6 and at the tight hairpin i get past the Lotus on the outside in the GT-R's only remaining power gear - that being second. Back into second position.
It's L7 - 350Z has a 7.4 second lead.
It's L10 - I'm getting closer to the Z by one second a lap. He's now 5.0 seconds away. 350Z, GT-R pit. Supra and WRX follow.
The Z has a 2.3 second lead here on L12.
It's L13 - the lead is 1.6 seconds away from me.
On L14 i've chomped away a whole second from the 350Z's lead. 0.6 left. I pass him in the tight hairpin corner thanks to the low-end power of the GT-R.
I run wide at the first corner on L15 and go through the grass. I let the 350Z in front to be fair. I pass him back, however, before the last tunnel after he ran ever so slightly wide. The Godzilla and the Happy Faced Gold Monster pit in at the end of the lap.

vroom GT-R and WRX get great starts. I pass 350Z, WRX gets blocked by him. WRX gets past under braking. I run wide around first corner and get pushed into the wall by the Impreza. 350Z takes lead followed by WRX and Corvette with me now in fourth. Car understeers into wall in corner following back straight. This is one of the hardest corners in the game to master. Supra passes putting me in fifth. Lotus taps me around the next corner (long left-hander) which makes me run wide thus giving him fifth place.
It's L2 - the Elise runs wide on the first corner (did the same thing as i did a lap earlier) and i take advantage by stealing his race position. Pass a slowing Corvette at the second last corner.
It's L3 - 350Z 8.8 seconds away as i cross the start/finish line.
I make a plan to pit on L12 for a one-stopper.
It's L5 - i pass the Supra in the 'square' turns (turns five and six - before the back straight). 350Z, WRX and Supra pit. I lead with Elise in second.
On L8 the 350Z catches the Elise and takes over second place. Z is following me from 4.1 seconds away.
It's L10 - 350Z is 2.4 seconds away. He's using NoS!! Gets to 2.0 seconds on sector three (between second last and last corners) before he makes a pit stop for tyres. More likely to be refilling tanks with Nitrous Oxide though. Muahahaha!! *cough* Ahem. Lotus takes his second place with pride.
As planned - i pit on L12. Elise gains his 10 second, second place, trail on me and takes over lead. I lose second place to the Gold Monster just as i get back on the racetrack. Bugger.
It's L15 - the 350Z catches the Elise in turn one. I'm about 3 to 4 seconds away. The Z follows the Yellow Cookie closely until the second last turn where he gets into first on the short straight. Both of them head into the pits around the next corner. I resume lead of the race.
350Z gains nine seconds on me in only four laps! (i wasn't playing around either )

well i learned something from doing this. Something very important and unfortunately not something that everyone realises. I feel obliged to tell you what this lesson was. It is the simple fact... that this car whooooooooops ass!!!!!! The car handles very well and as good as the Z on most tracks and when it's under full power (stock power but full power if you know what i mean) it goes like a rocket. Faster than the 350Z, R33 GT-R, Elise etc...
It is about the fifth or sixth Nissan Skyline in my garage to have over 1,000 km's also. I'm proud of that. So should you be.
Ah well. I hope you liked reading this as much as i liked doing the series.

judgement day Race organisers restrict power of GT-R again from 317 hp to 305 hp to make racing closer.
vroom From L4 to L5 the Supra and GT-R fight each other for third place. The Godzilla wins.
It's L7 - the 350Z takes a pit stop giving the lead to the GT-R.
It's L11 - Chevrolet's Corvette gets lapped by Nissan's Skyline.
I make no pit stop. Front tyres are orange, back yellow. Was quite an average/quiet race. I should have pitted to make it more exciting. (and so i could talk about it more!) Corvette getting lapped in his home country? Thou shall bow thy head in shame!!

judgement day Race organisers restrict power of GT-R from 305 hp to 300 hp to still try to make racing closer.
vroom From the start of the race (i never recorded what laps these events happened...) to L5 i got third from the Supra after he went to play in the sand at turn two. I no longer have power advantage over any car thanks to the restrictions of the race organisers. (geez! Wake up guys - this thing has more than power...) I grab second place from the Impreza as he takes the second last corner too wide.
It's L5 - 350Z, GT-R, WRX and Supra pit in. Elise takes over lead.
About a lap or two later (didn't record it) 350Z and GT-R start gaining time on Elise. Has 14 second lead from me, 350Z about 8 seconds away from me in second.
It's L8 - Elise is roughly 11 seconds away with 350Z closing fast.
It's L9 - Elise and 350Z fight over who gets to lead the race. Both of them in my sights (further up) as i enter back straight. Z wins the fight and takes over the lead on the long right hander after the back straight. I enter pits.
I come out on L10 in fifth place. 350Z, Supra and WRX pit in at the end of the lap. Lotus takes lead and runs with it. Z gets out of pits in front of me which rewards me with third place.
It's L15 - the Gold Monster pits and i take over second.
The next lap, L16 (well it couldn't be anything less could it?), the Elise pits in giving me the race lead.
It's L19 - 350Z takes over second place, which relegates the Elise to third.
It's L20 - The Corvette gets eaten by the Godzilla for the second time.

judgement day Race organisers ring up AVESCO to ask how to slow the GT-R down. They reply "Ban it! It's the only way! Or just take the wheels off it mate!" Race organisers don't like either idea. They give up. ANOTHER VICTORY FOR GODZILLA!!!!
vroom It's L1 - Elise leads the pack from the startline all the way to the bottom of the back straight where he concequencly (sp?) ruins it by running into the wall at the bottom resulting in a loss of four places. Resumes in front of Supra and behind GT-R for fifth place.
It's L2 - Supra gets a run on me up the main straight (power+slipstream) and makes an attempt to pass me under braking on the first corner but backs off. 350Z takes lead from Corvette. I pass the Corvette on the tight left hander after the second tunnel. He then makes a pit stop.
Supra tries to get third place from me on L3 down the main straight but once again backs off under braking (i'm glad the AI do this at this track if they are on the inside of you). WRX goes wide on tight left hander after second tunnel - before third, i get second place from him.
It's L4 - WRX tries to pass down the main straight (as Supra had attempted for the past two laps) but backs off and gets caught by Supra. Supra attempts to take third from him down back straight but hits the wall at the bottom. (after the WRX pushed/rode him into it)
It's L6 - 350Z, GT-R, Supra and WRX all take a pit stop. Once again my pit crew do an excellent job and i get out in front of the Z, who i followed in! All the while the Elise has taken over the lead.
On L11 i snatch first place from the Elise over the start/finish line.
It's L14 - i take my second pit stop and keep second place from the 350Z. Elise leads again.
From L15 to L19 i race really hard out (sticking to the track of course) to try to catch the Elise.
It's L20 - I finally catch up to and get behind the Lotus then outbraked him into the first corner clinching the lead.
The Elise did no pit stops throughout the race.

vroom Fought for fifth place with the Elise for about one lap (during L1 and L2). Eventually got past.
It's L4 - i take a pit stop. I shouldn't have... Come out in fifth - 21 seconds away from 350Z.
It's L6 - i pass the start finish line 37+ seconds away from the Z. Still fifth.
On L6 the 350Z and WRX pit. I'm still fifth but have caught up with WRX (yes i was that far behind).
The Supra leads the race and pits at the end of L7.
It's L8 - myself and the WRX pass the Supra as it is leaving the pits. I'm now in fourth with the Supra and Corvette trailing.
It's L9 - Impreza passes the Elise at the first hairpin bend (left). I get third from the Elise after the left turn in the tunnel. 350Z getting further away. Now a 20 second gap.
I pass the WRX in the first hairpin on L10. Start catching 350Z.
From second position i enter pit lane on L11. Come out in fifth place.
It's L12 - 350Z pits from the race lead. WRX follows. I get past the WRX while he's in the pits and claim fourth place.
Godzilla passes the Elise on the outside, under braking, for the last corner to get into third place on lap 13.
It's L14 - GT-R takes second from the Toyota Supra at the last corner.
A lesson. Never look away from the road for any lengthy amount of time while driving. I did so on L17 and ended up entering pit lane...
It's L18 - i pass the Elise to take the final podium position. Pass the Impreza for second place while it pits.
Supra gets past Elise at some stage to become third.

vroom In fourth on L4 when i pass the WRX for third between the second and third tunnels after he runs wide. I pass the Supra at the tight left hairpin corner but he has the power to pass me back before the last corner. Even with me slipstreaming him up the main straight he still gets away.
It's L5 - i finally get past the Supra in the second corner/s. (s-bend) 8.0 seconds away from the Happy Faced Goldilocks.
350Z, GT-R, WRX and Supra pit in at the end of this lap.
I come out of the pits and get overtaken by the Elise before the first corner as he carries more speed down the main straight. It's now L6 and at the tight hairpin i get past the Lotus on the outside in the GT-R's only remaining power gear - that being second. Back into second position.
It's L7 - 350Z has a 7.4 second lead.
It's L10 - I'm getting closer to the Z by one second a lap. He's now 5.0 seconds away. 350Z, GT-R pit. Supra and WRX follow.
The Z has a 2.3 second lead here on L12.
It's L13 - the lead is 1.6 seconds away from me.
On L14 i've chomped away a whole second from the 350Z's lead. 0.6 left. I pass him in the tight hairpin corner thanks to the low-end power of the GT-R.
I run wide at the first corner on L15 and go through the grass. I let the 350Z in front to be fair. I pass him back, however, before the last tunnel after he ran ever so slightly wide. The Godzilla and the Happy Faced Gold Monster pit in at the end of the lap.

judgement day Race organisers decide to allocate five laps for qualifying to see the true speed of cars and to make a more interesting race.

vroom GT-R and WRX get great starts. I pass 350Z, WRX gets blocked by him. WRX gets past under braking. I run wide around first corner and get pushed into the wall by the Impreza. 350Z takes lead followed by WRX and Corvette with me now in fourth. Car understeers into wall in corner following back straight. This is one of the hardest corners in the game to master. Supra passes putting me in fifth. Lotus taps me around the next corner (long left-hander) which makes me run wide thus giving him fifth place.
It's L2 - the Elise runs wide on the first corner (did the same thing as i did a lap earlier) and i take advantage by stealing his race position. Pass a slowing Corvette at the second last corner.
It's L3 - 350Z 8.8 seconds away as i cross the start/finish line.
I make a plan to pit on L12 for a one-stopper.
It's L5 - i pass the Supra in the 'square' turns (turns five and six - before the back straight). 350Z, WRX and Supra pit. I lead with Elise in second.
On L8 the 350Z catches the Elise and takes over second place. Z is following me from 4.1 seconds away.
It's L10 - 350Z is 2.4 seconds away. He's using NoS!! Gets to 2.0 seconds on sector three (between second last and last corners) before he makes a pit stop for tyres. More likely to be refilling tanks with Nitrous Oxide though. Muahahaha!! *cough* Ahem. Lotus takes his second place with pride.
As planned - i pit on L12. Elise gains his 10 second, second place, trail on me and takes over lead. I lose second place to the Gold Monster just as i get back on the racetrack. Bugger.
It's L15 - the 350Z catches the Elise in turn one. I'm about 3 to 4 seconds away. The Z follows the Yellow Cookie closely until the second last turn where he gets into first on the short straight. Both of them head into the pits around the next corner. I resume lead of the race.
350Z gains nine seconds on me in only four laps! (i wasn't playing around either )

well i learned something from doing this. Something very important and unfortunately not something that everyone realises. I feel obliged to tell you what this lesson was. It is the simple fact... that this car whooooooooops ass!!!!!! The car handles very well and as good as the Z on most tracks and when it's under full power (stock power but full power if you know what i mean) it goes like a rocket. Faster than the 350Z, R33 GT-R, Elise etc...
It is about the fifth or sixth Nissan Skyline in my garage to have over 1,000 km's also. I'm proud of that. So should you be.
Ah well. I hope you liked reading this as much as i liked doing the series.
