Is the GT350 not close enough for you?

yes and no. the 350 and 500 are two different beasts. the 350 sounds different than the 500, drives different, ect.

Could you not just have said, "Eleanor, the Shelby Mustang GT500 from the film Gone in 60 seconds" in the first place, or at least spelled Eleanor correctly in the thread?

Instead you've just got confused people asking what an "Elanor" is.

I think the GT500 was only in GT2 and in no ther GT game...

But I've seen some pictures of the actual Eleanor in GT4 (!) here somewere but I'm 100% sure it was via a Gameshark :dopey:

Well duh of course it does, but you can't start a thread moaning about every single car they missed out of GT4, if that was the case I would personally be here for days doing little else.

How could them have missed out the Ford Escort Mk1 and 2, the Lotus Cortina and Sunbeam, the Starion road car (people may spot a small rally bias here).

Bde happy with what we have got, which is far more than any other racing game and save the wishes for the GT5 wishlist threads (which already exist - don't start a new thread).

It was most likely a Photoshopped G.T.350.

I feel your pain, I was narked myself at the lack of the GT500. But I guess I can't complain, they could've ditched the GT350 too.

Eleanor from the remake is actually a "2000" Unique Performance built Shelby GT500E and was built off a '67 Fastback. Eleanor currently resides here in Texas under the license plate 60 Sec.

Here was Eleanor next an old rival I took earlier this year.

According to UP, 1 of the other Eleanors used in the movie now has the black 60 logo on it.

I was also disappointed that Eleanor wasnt in GT1, GT2, GT3, or GT4. Heck I would have been happy with a simple 67 Fastback but that is not even in the GT series. The closest was a 66 or 65 and those are completely different body styles. Oh well good thing there is an Eleanor in PGR3 for the 360!! Yes an actual GT500 based off of Eleanor!! First game I have ever seen do this. 👍 👍
Pics DRIFTGOD took from PGR3.

They'll probably include the new Shelby GT500 Mustang in GT5 (at least I hope :(), I hear that car is amazing on the road, track, anywhere. I would take a GT500 or a '67 fastback any day.

Eleanor was a 1971 Mustang Mach 1. It wasn't in GT4 because no one cares about either version.
We are talking about the new "Gone in 60 seconds" Not the original. More people care than you think.

Is that the one in the original "Gone in 60 Seconds"? Not a very pretty car, but it was nice to watch her jump... Ooooooh, she just hit another car, that makes it... what? forty? And I'm only halfway through the movie...

I also dont care much for the "original" 71 body style Eleanor.
If you like the new Eleanor visit this thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=79943&highlight=ELEANOR
Here are both "Eleanor" cars
original movie and new movie

I just did a little research and it sais everywhere that the Eleanor in the original was a 73. Thats ironic since we currently have a 73 Mustang and a 67 Mustang sitting in my driveway right now. :sly:
The 67 is heathers and the 73 is her moms car.
Sorry for the double post,... I got excited. lol

I personally like the new Elanor over the original. I like the paint job much more on the new one, and the body style is more appealing to me.
I think 95% of us think the same thing. The new eleanor is soooooo sexy!!! :sly:

Absolutely, and you can get one from Unique Performance for only a ton of money and a '67 fastback body!

But it is also a sissy car (they never even jumped it!), and in my opinion is riced up. The real car is a ruined '67 Mustang turned into a ruined '67 GT500.

I love that 69 Camaro in the photo beside the GT500. The 69 Camaro is my favorite car of all time.

Thanks for the pic, McLaren. :-)

You sure dont know much about these cars do you. They did jump the Eleanor. Obviously not across the entire bridge but they jumped it for the landing scene. I am not going to argue with you about it all day. However you really should not post if you dont have your facts straight. Your just a hater.

I actually care, but since the "Eleanor" in the new movie isn't exactly a spec-on original GT500, you might end up disappointed with the results.

The GT350H in the game is pretty good, though. Too bad you can't upgrade the "period" brakes and tires for some real rotors and meats, but... oh well... there's always GT5... :indiff:

How is 550Bhp riced up?

And I recall Cage "jumping" the GT500E off the tow truck.
