Which book are you currently reading?

Currently reading Ludlum's "The Bourne Objective" by Eric Van Lustbader. Thisis the 8th? in the series. Not too bad a read actually. Although I may be biased as Lustbader is my favourite author.

Got this on September 6th and just getting started on it, but I am reading it on Kindle because I got the eBook format for free with my hardcover preorder.

Have been reading some novels in Japanese or English in my leeway recently - although I'm sometimes distracted from my reading in Japanese, feel like I'm more settled in English sentences than in my native language, in grasping plots or things in written texts.

I've just started the third and last:

Hugh Laurie - The Gun Seller

Very curious about it, since I'm kind of a Hugh Laurie admirer.

Currently awaiting the delivery of my Kindle (other ebooks are available) but just finished 'Dont Tell My Mum I Work on the Rigs She Thinks Im a Piano Player in a Wh@re House' by Paul Carter. Absolutely the funniest book I have ever read. Been through it about 5 times now.

Also going back through my David Eddings collection and finished Ranulph Fiennes' autobiography last week.

And unfortunately yes, The Gun Seller was a disappointment.

Interesting book and subjects, and interesting anecdotes; however, even as a statistics inclined person, it was a little dry.

Yes, i enjoy it...Yes, it's my hobby...

Ooh, I'm not sure I could swing that one! :yuck: But hey, if you enjoy it then more power to you!

I'm currently reading something called Germany 1866-1945 by Gordon A. Craig. I lucked in and paid only $1 for this 800 page beauty at my university's discount book sale! :dopey: It's a great read for anyone interested in European or German history.

I just finished "The Hunger Games" trilogy and am now halfway through "The Catcher In The Rye" by J.D. Salinger.

Just finished reading El Choko.

It´s about a swede doing some bad stuff and then gets persuaded to go down to Bolivia and bring home cocaine.

Obviously the police finds out and he spends 4-5 years inside the most dangerous prison on the planet. The only person being white thus the nick name "El Choko"

No guards inside the prison, pedophiles gets killed right on the spot, if you have money you can rent better cells or just plain walk out the prison during the days etc,

He´s home now though and works in the warehouse at a supermarket, incredible book i have to say.

I started another one by Murakami, this time his last novel:
