Which Driver Cat are you atm and what do you prefer?

I'm between C and D.

I prefer being in D as when I win a few races I get moved up to C and against tougher opponents and less likely to win.
 
I float between D & C myself. I don’t worry about it because I can accept the fact that I’m not that good at this game, and that’s ok. I still have fun racing against others.
 
DR B. SR S. Right where I belong. Pretty clean and fast usually. Those gr1 races are crazy fast for me. I just try to finish clean and not get embarrassed !?
 
B but I'm very close to A, although I don't think I'm ready for A yet because while I can put in the odd decent lap I'm not very consistent and still make a few too many mistakes. I've only won 9 in 230 odd races. This is the first sim I've ever taken seriously though, the last sim I had was GT5 back when I was like 16 and all I ever did was look for dirty lobbies to mess about in, dirty nurb was a riot :lol: Now I can't stand dirty driving...
 
DR bounces between D and C. Whenever I practice enough before racing I get promoted to C quite easily, but when I jump right in with a new car, e.g. the Supra, I drop back to D after a few embarrassing races. SR is consistently S.
 
I'm S again now, dropped to A after some poor races and a couple of blue screen crashes but opponent level is no different, it's all luck with who you match with when you go to race and that decides whether or not you've even got a chance of winning. Sometimes I'm the fastest in the room, other times I'm outside the top ten. :lol:
 
DR-B / SR-S

I think I could make DR-A, but I don't have much time to dedicate to GT Sport mode really and there seem to be so few races going each day that I actually want to do/result in a decent result it's been hard to make much progress towards it.
 
DR B/SR A

I don't have much time to work on my ratings, even then, I feel like it's losing the point of the rating system for me to "work" on them.

Wins are quite rare now too
 
DR. B and SR. S seems like the spot for me. I tanked a couple of races to get DR down to D so i could actually win a couple of races. Yes i won 5 races in a row but it felt empty... Now that i'm back in DR. B and have taken my time to get some god qualification times, i finally got the fuzzy warm feeling when i have won some races.. :dopey:

If this continues i will end up in DR. A, and back to qualifying around 10th :guilty:

DR B SR S and finding it hard to push for a good finish to get DR up without getting smashed to bits and then losing SR

How many DR points are you guys on?
 
DR: A and SR: S. Slowly approaching DR: S. Some of the guys in that bracket are almost untouchable - hopefully racing with them will afford me the opportunity to pick up a few tricks or two!
 
S/S (c.67k DR points, 99 SR pts)

Only race grp 3 or 4 at Suzuka, Interlagos, Nurb GP or Brands.
 
Normally depends on what circuits I do. Not fast on high speed tracks (auto gears and DS4). Stuck in c at the moment. Seems right for me
 
Low A...just about hanging in there with consistent driving, despite being 1.5-3 seconds/lap off the leaders every race!

this is the exact boat I'm in... want to maintain A though as a win there feels a lot better than B lol

also, it should be obligatory for everybody to have their Kudosprime in their signature haha

DR C and SR S. Thiiiis close to DR B, but got spun out while in 2nd place at the last corner and finished 14th.
 
Pretty good for only 9 days playing!

Thanks the first time I got up to SR S pretty quick as I do like to think of myself as a clean driver but as soon as I started qualifying better I was getting hit more, let hope that levels out bit more with been in DR B now.

I found that the racing in DR B to be cleaner than DR C, as it takes a bit of effort to get there as opposed to C which is basically a default category.

When you look at it like that I guess im doing ok, keep meaning to put more time into it but when I start I end up been on late and knackered the next day in work haha.
