I'm surprised there aren't more votes for Gt5 considering it was the most innovative in the series, particularly regarding course maker. Well, It was just one feature, but the current hype...!

2 people already voted for GT7? Seriously?
I find it more surprising (well not really, more telling perhaps...) that GT5+GT6 received less votes than a 10 year old version of the game. What does that say?

GT4 no doubt. The game overall had longevity, something that lacks in GT5 and GT6. The only thing that had me coming back to gt5 and 6 was online and sometimes it wouldn't be no good rooms up which mean I would get off of it. Career mode for both of those games would already be beat while GT4 had a lot to do. GT4 was the game that made me fell in love with the series. Not saying I hate gt 5 and 6 it's just that gt4 has longevity. Also AI was actually a little more of a challenge on there as well.

I feel like GT6's career mode took very quick to complete, but in GT4, it took much longer.

Gran Turismo 4 is better than the others. It felt like thats where the GT series could have been based on. A good amount of events and not 50 or so seasonal events that can be blasted through. At least GT5 felt like GT4 in a way like that. In GT6, it felt too casual. GT has never been a casual racing game, its a driving/racing simulator.

To me, GT4 isn't just the best GT game, but one of the best games I've ever played.
Very good graphics for its time;
Beautiful user interface;
Good songs in the game;
Beautiful replays (We could even see the heat haze coming from the asphalt):bowdown:;
Very good physics for an old console;
Many fun different events;
And so on...

About GT6, I can say it has good physics for a PS3 game and a very good selection of tracks. End.

I voted GT5 because of the stuff we could do with it. Not all from within the game but by going slightly grey-ish with the rules. :D

I loved the fact the community could use GT5 as a base and go from there.

Normaly not available paint, swapping engines, permanently lending modified cars fom others, painting rims.
I had my most fun time with GT5.

If i had to vote for second it would be GT4 as it had topless driving for convertibles and El Capitain.

True. I didn't even reach 100% on GT4. I think I had like 90% done and still another 10% to go before it stop working like around the end of 2009:( And not too mention my older brother got the game for us like a week after it release. And i started a career mode right within there. But then again I gotta say that i stop playing it for a long time because other games had my attention as well like the NASCAR games (which was good at the time) NFL street 2 and burnout revenge along with others but those was the main ones:D

It's interesting that GT3 has received such a small number of votes, even though it's the best selling GT game so far.

That GT4 remains on top is a good sign for the future of Gran Turismo.

That GT6 is a close second is kinda strange though. I guess it's online doing that, because I can't believe it'd be that high if it was offline only like the old games.

Probably people basing their on opinions solely on graphics and physics, because as a game, I have to say it kind of sucks. Online killed offline mode. GT6 should have tons of events and many more tracks than it does.

It's the fact that a racing game contains no proper offline racing that makes it most perplexing, hence why I assumed people voting did so based on it being online, where you can have proper races.
