The Protege5 looks good too...Car & Driver was comparing it to the Lotus Elise, the 911, Corvette, etc. in terms of handling and chassis. Their only complaint was that it needed more power to get out of corners...that's where the custom turbo system comes in. 😈 :burnout:

if u want an even better wagon get an A4avant or S4avant or if u want something bigger get an A6avant or S6avant all by :audi:
besides u can prolly afford since u have an ML430

Risingson, yea the MP5 is great. I'm Austrilia they have an SP model, it's got a turbo. I bet you could order the turbo from Mazda, and it would probably go right on the US spec MP5...

Mazda6 wagon: I'd love it! Unfortunately, I needed a car at the time and not in a few months.

Mazda Protege5: Too small.

A4/S4 Avant: Too small; S4 Avant is worthless to me, since I usually go seven miles an hour on the freeway.

A6/S6 Avant: Consider that I bought the ML used, not new. I was looking at a used A6 Avant but nope (Consumer Reports does call the A6 the least-reliable car over $20,000 ). The S6 Avant was about $40,000 more than I could afford.
