Who is the best Bassist ever? In your opinion.

What about Geezer, Pako? I know you meant to add him so I'll do it for you :P

Geezer was never really an influence to me, thus didn't make the list....., but I should be shamed for leaving out Roger Waters, not so much for his bass playing, but for his contributions to Pink Floyd as a bass player/song writter.

Yeah I was about to yell at you for not putting Roger in your list, but seriously Pako you need to see Sabbath live Geezer is amazing, so is Tommi Iommi but Geezer is my hero, well 3rd hero behind Ozzy and Roth.

Yeah, Les has his own very unuiqe style of music. I don't know any other band who is close to Primus in the way their music sounds.

Claypool? Who's that? Just kidding.... But seriously, he's not in the list, because he's really not an influence for my playing.... Besides, I get really pissed off when I hear his solo's.... Constantly muttering to myself, "how in the heck does he do that?"... :D

What about Claypools other bands, they all sound a bit like Primus. (Well his playing does..)

They are in no particular order:

Sausage
Fearless Flying Frog Brigade
Holy Mackerel
And the latest: Oysterhead (With guitarist from phish, and drummer from the police.)

Check them out!
