I'd like to meet Holger...
Anyhoo, a big GTP convention/meeting would be pretty damn sweet, but I doubt we could ever pull it off with any decent amount of people showing. A lot of members live in different countries, and like 90% of members are under 18. For a meeting of members in N. America we'd need to find a place convenient for everyone, and we'd have to get the permission from a lot of people's parets.
It could definitely be done, but it'd take time & planning.

like Josh said, it wouldn't be profitable...
you have people from Australia, from Europe and from other places... it would be stupid to get someone from Europe in America for a day only...
besides, not all of us would be able to make it, the ones that weren't able to go would get pissed everytime we'd refer to it, this would create "crews" (the good ole' boys that met each others...)

We could have a meeting overseas in Europe somewhere. I could get free round trip first class tickets(having a father & stepmother be airline pilots has its advantages, somtetimes) for everyone, and we could all hop on a place an visit the foreign beotches.
