So is anyone going to share the fastest setup?
Thing is there isn't a definitive "fastest" setup. I used Praiano's tune as a base but it was way too understeery for my liking so I messed around with the suspension and the aero
Transmission glitch is gone as well afaik so you can't get the same gear ratios

Here's my ver 1.25 setup

Due to the increased tyre wear multiplier I went 5IM/7RH and just made it home

If you don't have the ultra high turbo I think the medium is the second best option. My race time was about 10 sec slower tho.

Cool. Awesome time!! And great setup. Thanks for posting it.

I don't have the ultra high turbo. I'm amazed that it makes such a difference. Actually I try to avoid too much revs, to save fuel, but I guess it's faster to take it fully to redline, and just add more fuel at the pit stop

Wall riding is faster ?
Yes. People wouldn't do it if it was slower. With the current physics the game occasionally decides that you should spin in random directions for 20 seconds or so. It's depressing to observe how unrealistic the slide/crash physics are, considering we try so hard to apply real world logic to the handling characteristics of the car while racing

Eh, whatever, we could just still go at it while dismissing the wallriders times.

But I can't go no more than 25:25 it seems lol

Me thinks the challenge now is to get under 24 minutes... However you want
Not much of a challenge lol, my fastest lap with wallriding was a 1:52.9 and that wasn't a really quick lap. My first attempt was a 24:13 but that included two spins and a few incidents...
Also game surprisingly rewarded me with a 6 star ticket for that so finally a decent reward lol
