I am curious why people are obsessed with 0 milage and 0 swithced cars. I know mileage eventually starts to lower hp on the car but dont you just go to GT auto and get an overhaule of the engine and chasis as well as change the oil? So whats the big deal with a 0 milage car on a video game? Am I missing something here

but the others are driving them ;)

We don't have a real wear in GT, there's no point to worry about it, imo.

Most of these guys have at least 2 of the cars they love. One is tuned to their liking and the other is kept at a pristine and untouched condition(0/0). The latter is due to many reasons such as collection, better trade, etc...

I keep some at 0/0/0 purely for trade reasons. Have been knocked back on a trade because a car has had one switch... :-)

I have a Formula GT that I used for some B-Spec endurance races.
During those races, the car went through prolonged periods of time without any oil changes or rebuilding.
The car was being driven with the oil light constantly on.

Now, even after a rebuild, it has irrecoverable horsepower loss.
All my other Formulas have more horsepower.

Receiving a car with zero miles and zero changes ensures that this sort of loss won't be an issue.

I like starting out with 0 milage cars so I know exactly how many miles I've put on them when I use them.

It's always best to start with zero mileage cars but once you've got them it's a good idea to use them, it also increases horse power as it's run in. I always do an oil change on every car before racing it. As for trading, theres so many traders out there you'll always find what you want or just use a ticket if you that bothered about finding a specific car.
