Why the NFL is the most popular football code in America

I have no idea. Why does a nation that prides itself on its virility be overcome by the terribly compelling urge to strap on forty pounds of body armour just to play rugby?

Wow, that was crap.

How many times can a guy say choreographed before he joins a dance group?

And the coaching thing is abit crap, football would need 15 coaches if there were 45 guys in a squad because they weren't versatile enough to attack, defend and remember a few specials.

If you guys think that clown speaks for American football fans, you are sorely mistaken.

I do hate when people trash a sport though that they've never tried to play or even watch and enjoy.

That guy really had no idea what he was talking about, one may not like football but it's more complex then that guy makes it out to be. There is more to in then just putting a ball in the net, you could simplify any sport down to the way you score.

I cannot stand the NFL, it just bores me to tears trying to watch it. NCAA America football though isn't all that bad and I watch it quite frequently although I'm not overly disappointed if I have something else to do. However I feel the same way about the MLS (Major League Soccer) as I do about the NFL, if I'm going to watch football it almost always has to be an international event like the Euro Cup, World Cup, or the Olympics.

I can respect those guy that play American football since it's something I can't do very well and I do respect that they are athletes, but as entertainment I'll look elsewhere.

nutshell point: americans do everything the long and hard way.

hell, americans do everything THEIR way. Period.
