Will GT6 Be On The Orbis?

That's why I didn't get it until late 2010 when it went on sale for a 160gb at $240 bundled with a controller, GT5 and Grown Ups Blu-Ray. The bundle Blockbuster had was an 80gb and the console it self wasn't offered alone up until 2009. At least here anyways.

That's pretty painful. With me, I didn't consistently and regularly uses my PS3 until MGS released. Where's here though? I've never seen a bundle priced at $999.

In NY. Everyone wanted a PS3 so they got away with charging that much. Good thing I waited. I saw that and said HELL NO. I stuck to my PS2 for a long time.

read any of the articles about it on major gaming websites, they're all pointing towards AMD, makes sense considering most developers find the cell processor very difficult to work with and it wasn't exactly what Sony had hoped for.

What's c-spec?

It was never labeled that by Kaz, but that's what we coined Free Roam to be.

Yamauchi wanted to implement a “free roam” gameplay mode in GT5, where players could drive around, respecting speed limits and obeying traffic laws, and even exit the car to walk around and explore the environment on foot.

I think that's where people got the idea of C-Spec from. I'll keep searching to make sure.

Honestly anything that is posted here is pure speculation unless confirmed by Sony themselves. I will also not believe anything that's posted online about the next system, even it's so called "name" until I get something directly from you know who.

My guess = GT6 on PS3.

The exact same thoughts here man. Plus, I'm personally hoping GT6 isn't on the way for a few years yet, unlike GT5, make it a COMPLETE game, with no need for updates.

I expect the PS4 to learn from PS3's high price. I imagine the PS4 will launch at 600 dollars flat.

There's no way Sony is launching for more than $400 for the top SKU. Otherwise, Sony learned nothing, and wants to stay in "last place" again. They must enjoy taking up the rear.

If people will drop money on the OUTDATED Wii U .. im sure they will buy a 600$ PlayStation 4.

You know the Wii U is quite a bit more powerful than PS3, right? At least, that's based on the last information I read about some months back, where IGN said a source stated that the next Xbox will be six times as powerful as the Xbox 360, and 20% more powerful than Wii U. These figures would then imply that Wii U is in the ballpark of five times as powerful as 360, and 360 is roughly comparable to PS3. Either way, these figures put Wii U as pretty close to the next Xbox, and it's unlikely that Sony will launch a console that's significantly more powerful than the next Xbox.

GT5 is pushing the limits of the PS3 as is...GT6 would essentially be the same thing (engine/graphics/sound-wise) but possibly with different cars and tracks (which could be DLC)...i personally would rather see it on a next gen system where they have less limitation.

There has been 2 GT games for each generation. If GT6 comes out for PS3, then it would be a more complete game. Every car could be premium, more events, a couple of tracks, and maybe a couple of graphical tweaks. I rather for it to come out on the PS3 than the PS4. I'm not ready to spend a whole lot of money on a new console yet, and still enjoy the PS3.

I agree wanting GT6 on the PS3 too, I'm seriously. Why can't we just have GT7 and GT8 on the PS4, or be at least called, "Gran Turismo Generations" on that console by itself. Which could feature bikes that some peoples been begging for lately.

I will say that GT6 will be on the "Orbis" and will come out in 2014-2015. It will have the same graphics of the Premium Cars in GT5 and will probably have anywhere between 600-800 cars which are all premium, It will also probably have a time cycle and weather change for all the tracks.
