Will GT6 Be On The Orbis?

No its not. Sony said no game currently on the market even comes close.

then why are ports dumbed down for the PS3? Skyrim for example...also if that were the case we'd have more than a 16 car grid, improved engine sounds (not recycled from GT4), higher quality track textures with more surrounding detail, etc. considering the development time for a game like GT, including modeling all premium cars, recording new samples for every car, track development etc, i don't see GT6 being on the PS3, they would be lucky to get it out by holiday season 2013, and even if they did it wouldn't be smart seeing as they could use a flagship Sony game like GT to move new systems, i would rather see something groundbreaking than GT5 2.0 which is all the PS3 can offer at this point.

Those things have nothing to do with the PS3's limitations.

Sounds like the original sales pitch for GT5 to me. Why should people buy into it again?

what Marketing says can be wrong. Sony will Never say their Hardware is finished. All companys dont so that. ASK Sony or mS in 2850 - Year - and they would say something like that... " Well the PS3/360 are Good Hardware and we could Push them a Little further. We are Proof of our High quality products that can handle the future and compete with other Future products"

Yamauchi already complained about the PS3 Specs and Naughty Dog Said that they use 99% of the PS3. And you can See that the PS3 is finished.

Companies wants to Push their products and they dont Tell the truth sometimes.... Well more Often they lie.

You know the Wii U is quite a bit more powerful than PS3, right? At least, that's based on the last information I read about some months back, where IGN said a source stated that the next Xbox will be six times as powerful as the Xbox 360, and 20% more powerful than Wii U. These figures would then imply that Wii U is in the ballpark of five times as powerful as 360, and 360 is roughly comparable to PS3. Either way, these figures put Wii U as pretty close to the next Xbox, and it's unlikely that Sony will launch a console that's significantly more powerful than the next Xbox.

Well Thats wrong.

That and the fact that Kaz already said GT6 was being based off code from GT5, so it makes sense to be on the PS3.

Nope. It can be, but they can use code from GT5 for the Engine.... Lets say a GT5 Engine 2.0 or something like that.
And again Time can change Things.

I agree wanting GT6 on the PS3 too, I'm seriously. Why can't we just have GT7 and GT8 on the PS4, or be at least called, "Gran Turismo Generations" on that console by itself. Which could feature bikes that some peoples been begging for lately.

The instalments of Gran Turismo serials are ever published in a packet of two games on each console from PS1 to PS3(Supposing that GT6 is expectedly to be launched on the current console before the release of PS4, though it's not officially out yet), so I think it's likely to happen aside from limitations in addition of more new features and texture.

That's true. :) Will love to see the new features and textures for sure.
