Which points system should we use?

  • 1: 40 per race, 20 pole position, 0 points second in qualifying

    Votes: 0 0.0%

Alliteration? That's not a pun. Anyways, time to eat dinner; amazing how it happens right when I have safety car duty scheduled.

Exactly, especially when each and every time I elevate my use of these extremely advanced English terms. :P

Jesus, this jolly jargon is jazzing up this thread.

Alright, it was only four words, but I used the letter j. :sly:

Biggest race of the season - High Speed Ring

You have to be a champ to win there. Championship Honda announcement soon xD

Championship Honda Recap:

After moving from a multi-car team to a independent team, Championship Honda prepared for the opening round at Motegi. At the Friday test session with Dodge Driver, Cnd01, Championship Honda Driver Polarbear345 seemed to have great pace. Things went a bit south at the beginning of the qualifying session when Lancer shows up in the Renault with great pace! Polar ends up qualifying 4th, and things are looking good. With the start of race one, Polar made his way up to Cnd, and when going for the pass... They touched. Polar went flying off, and finds himself in the hands of Braun. *Blah Blah Blah*

Polar ends up getting punted into the sand. This was a disaster for the team, and Polar ends up finishing 5th in Race 1.

Race two goes much better, and Polar gets a podium, 3rd place. This is what he and the team wanted going into the weekend.

When asked about their plans for the next two races, the team said the following:

Suzuka is another home race for us, so we hope to do well. We really only want to get solid points. The next race, High Speed Ring, is the race we're putting some real effort into. We may be running a special set of red wheels in the race, and we're looking into some interesting options with the car. Polar has some oval experience, and that's what this track is more/less so drafting skills will be key.

We are very excited for season 2 of ITCC!

Would it matter if I switched to the Mazda6?

Go for it, I am pretty sure the team (Polestar Volvo) wasn't going anywhere with us two driving them. Your driver points will stay with you, not the team/manufacturer points.

I say go for it. I'm not Mel though.

Nice write-up. :sly: High Speed Ring is a stability track, though. The Volvo should have good pace there. It's the only car that doesn't skid about/squirm. :D

And, you'll be ever so happy to find out that I'm finished with the replays from race 1 investigations.

The following drivers:

-polarbear345
-whiskymaser
-braunracing88
-MrMelancholy15
-Sakery

... are being notified of the results of the investigations, and the points will be automatically adjusted following the results (appeals pending, if one is launched.)

Edit:
Original Post
Only small, accidental bumps are allowed.

All Stewarding Messages from Race 1 have been sent.

Results from Race 1 will not influence points.

However, whiskymaser will start from the rear of the field (last position,) until Grand Valley East, (unless an appeal is posted.)

Whiskymaser was found to be in violation of Rules 1 and 2 of our Conduct Guidelines (the original, full-length document can be found here)

Specifically, he was found to be in violation of:

1. Be considerate of all other drivers.

2. Be a Clean Driver.

-Every driver mustn’t cross the painted lines upon entering/exiting the pits..

-Upon passing, the chasing car is responsible for slowing down early.

- “Dive bombing” (passing purely by outbraking the opponent in front) will not be allowed.
- All drivers must be beside (front tires of driver passing ahead of rear tires of driver being passed)
- All pass-eligibility judgements will be made based on position before braking begins.

The pit exit line crossing occurred on the first lap, as an avoiding measure to avoid hitting LancerEvo7. This is not true reasoning for the penalty, this is just a warning.

The "divebomb" occurred in Turn 1, and resulted in a three car incident that put Sakery and MrMelancholy15 off circuit.

A second "divebomb" occurred in Turn 2 of lap 2, and forced MrMelancholy15 off circuit.

All other Investigations from Race 1 have been closed, except the Investigation of contact between polarbear345 and braunracing88. This investigation (contact, between polarbear345 and braunracing88) appears to be an instance of a lag spike. I'd like to see photos of braunracing88's perspective in the incident.

Final edit: I cheaped out on upload quality, that 240p looks rubbish, I know.

oh running on saturday? too bad it's a complicated day to say the least...

Darn, complicated meaning "I can't come, I'm busy?"

Or, complicated "I have nothing to do, because it's between Friday and Sunday; the important days of the week?"

Did y'all like my write-up? I wasn't sure how cheesy to make it...

Ill upload my replay in a bit Braun, it looks a bit different xD

I'm glad that's lag between Braun and Polar. It looked bad on my replay and polars too.

Suzuka East is next. Oh boy, That's going to be interesting. Performance adjustment announcements Mel?

Volvo stays as-is, Renault -10 hp, and SRT4 +20 kg.

All of the other specs are good. Polar, tbw, whisky and I are the more mid-field cars at previous specs, so hopefully the Renault and SRT4 will be slowed down a touch to meet up in the middle.

I am gone the next two Saturdays. Once again, my busy life is costing me GTP championships.
