Almost enraging...

This is a great example of when to use a deliberately wrong word (but for that you would need to switch off Hard Mode) in order to eliminate as many letters as possible and guaranteeing a 4...

For example, if the second guess was SKILL, the third word should be PHOTO... because HPTW are all possible, but PHOTO gives you the answer in one guess (i.e. P or T would go yellow if the answer was SPILL or STILL, and H would be green if the answer was SHILL. However, if all PTH are grey, then you would know for sure that SWILL was correct, so you would get a certain 4. The same goes for all other possible letters, e.g.

SKILL - PHOTO - SWILL
STILL - WHACK - SWILL
SPILL - WATCH - SWILL
SHILL - TWEAK - SWILL
