World GT Championships!

Ok...this isn't big name, or flashy. And no special prizes other than bragging rights are awarded for this, but if you like fun and competitive racing and you are open Tuesday nights around 10:00 Est, 7 Pst then you will have fun with this.

Ok rumors about the Super GT, Grand Am, and DTM have been going around for a while now that they will all combine into one racing league for the 2015 season, well I have made a league that already combines the three. (albeit somewhat indirect way)

The first race will kickoff this Tuesday and only 12 people the max per race. First come to the room first race. (Add me jomama2010 as they take place in my lounge)

Points are going to be dictated by the number of drivers that night.

There will also be a regular season and championship season where the top 5 drivers in points will compete for the postseason crown after the regular season. (The other drivers can still drive and compete for the consolation spot)
(The championship series is also going to be voted upon the top 5 drivers)

The key to winning this league is consistency!

Here are the current regulations and vehicles available. (You can pick 2 that haven't been chosen if interested)

Only ABS is allowed...all other driving aids are off.
Penalties for intentional wrecking may or may not include: warning, points taken away, race suspension
(Some small bumping and bump drafting is a part of racing...intentional wrecking however is not)

Good sportsmanship must be required...If I have to hear you for the whole hour and 15 minutes complaining about how everyone else ganged up on you or just start cursing another person out...(A little leeway if it was a bad wreck...emotions do run high during some of these long races)...will result in a 1 race suspension.
If a server reset does occur and half the field or more "lags" out late in the race then everybody participating gets a 5 point bonus with the race being postponed till next week.

To even out the field some more there shall be a bonus system where the people that finish near the back get a performance boost.

Finish 5th or worse for two races in a row. +5HP
Finish 7th or worse for two races in a row. +10HP
Finish 9th or worse for two races in a row. +15HP

All vehicles can be taken except for these select few.

Plain Blue Audi R8 LMS, Takata NSX 2003, Kenwood NSX 2003, Calsonic GTR 2000, Xanavi GTR 2003, and Xanavi Nismo Z 2006

Reason why I have a little more leeway on the DTM and Grand Am vehicles is that they only get one sponsorship while you can find the same model Super GT car under multiple sponsorships.

It was a thrilling finish...as any Deep Forest race is. On the flip side the Takata (jo) was the one leading the day and the Vette (uga) stole the lead with ten laps to go with only a 5 second differential. The vette was driven really hard, but with two laps left the Takata took the lead back and the Vette crashed.

Very similar ending compared to last weeks race. Where the Vette led the race and the Takata stole the final 8 laps only to crash and burn with two laps to go.

Boy does the gtr struggle here (trial mt.). Done a few practice runs, seems like the more laps I turn the looser it gets. 1:22.9 was the fastest I could get her. I hope everyone else has it all figured out by tonight. Good luck everyone

Trial mountain is definitely a tough track as is deep forest. These two weeks are definitely the most challenging.

how true! If I blink wrong the M3 spins at the corner before pit in. Luckily it's not far to limp for tires. I've been through several setups. I'm hoping for consistent 23's without spins.
