Okay guys, due to apparent confusion after sudden changes in hosting of Series 2's opening round (only 5 people in the room despite 12 signing up!) I have decided to postpone Autumn Ring to the end of the season, at week 7 of racing, and Series 2 will officially start next thursday, with Will hopefully then being the host so there's no more confusion about things. Series 1 might, for this reason, need to take a week off, but they can always
I think however, that the leagues are kind of inconsistent considering homes' league had easily about 10 participants. The calendar appears to be built around the South Africans, which might also make things difficult for this series to survive even though at least some made it...
And yes, terribly sorry about the confusion for all those who came in tonight. (neljack, akmuq & co. probably are delighted now
) Next time should be better, probably everyone should add me in advance just in case Will doesn't make it next week either.

Hey Carbon. As far as I recall, you were the one who wanted the European league and the RSA league it seems us RSA boys are just more reliable, we cant help it all your European boys didn't pitch. We actually had a few guys that were supposed to race with you join us, cause your room was closed. Pity

Carbon - its a series for all and the host gave clear instructions as too whats going on.
Will pulled out and the host for the second room was you. All the guys assigned to Will's room should have raced with you.
We cant just postpone and slot another week.
My suggestion is that all in the second room need to make the race happen before for the next round. Over the weekend sometime, and get your results to Homes.
Anyway - thanks for some great racing last night. Apart from some huge lag issues ??

Hi guys , I think your league is a great one just a few problems and complaints for race 1 ( so upset I got disconnected by the way I had 3rd place easily )
1. It might be better for me and tyrellracing to join the euroleague since we live in europe and experienced lag in the feature race , the lag was pretty bad but on the bright side I've seen worst. The weird thing is I didn't have any lag in the sprint race .
2. The formation lap is a great thing but it has to be done correctly , in the sprint race our 2nd place driver made a mistake during the final corners before the start and 1st place bolted off , me in 3rd place had to slow down , slowing the whole pack down and this ultimately gave 1st place an easy victory .
So I think we should sort out the location of all drivers and rearrange the rooms for a better online experience with less lag and just have the formation laps run a bit better.
Overall it was fun to run a 1 19 in the sprint race when I was doing mid 1 20's in practice , you really have to push the hell out of these small cars

Canu qualified on pole, I was second. Formation lap went well for me ??? I hugged Canu all the way and made the break with him. We raced close all the way too the finish, no mistake from me on formation lap ??? Dont know what happened behind, I was too focused on waiting for Canu to put the hammer down.
Hi, I think it was lag because I also slowed down like SkengD when it appeared someone lost control and then it "sorted" itself and place 1 and 2 had a nice gap already .
I think when it lags a car may appear to be crashing or running off the end of a straight but that person will have no lag on themselves.
It will be a pity if SkenD moves to the euro room cos I definitely had 3rd in the bag lol

The sprint race I believe I qualified 3rd and finished 4th but someone got disconnected as the race finished so in the results it said I finished 3rd.
Now for the feature race which is reverse grid I made sure to start the 3rd car to the back and I made my way all the way to 3rd place and then I got disconnected , what a shame.
Just get everything organized for next week and let me know , its a nice fun little league.

Hey Carb - I just read over my post earlier again and it seems it comes across a bit harsh......sorry, not blaming you. It just unlucky about all the confusion happened after everyone looked so forward to the first event.
We don't want all the entries to now feel this is a joke, but rather to regroup and have the race that you missed as soon as possible.
I would strongly suggest that all those affected in the second room agree to redo the race night before next Thursday. So Homes can do the points and keep things going as planned.
This is a great series and has the potential to be a very close championship, and then even better....the top guys go through to a champions of champions series.....awesome.
Stick it out, lets race.

Hey guys.... thanks for a fun race last night. As for the formation lap..... well I did the fastest lap, so I get to dictate the pace of the start, that's the whole point of getting pole position! If someone goes off track during the formation lap, then you must pass him and stick to the guy infront. It's in the rules boys!!!!! Obviously if you knock someone off then you must allow him back on infront of you, whilst letting the rest of the field thru. Your mistake Skeng. Lol. Anyway.... myself and Driver had a great battle for the win, well done boet.... awesome drive! We had the legs on the field last night with some impressive pace, don't think I blinked in the last 11 laps trying to close the gap after making that mistake. It was pretty tight on the last lap, but well done, you deserved the win!

Well done to those who did race last night!
Pity about the confusion for the series 2 guys...
As those that raced yesterday know, there was quite a bit of lag at the beginning and the sound in the room was not good. I think, some of that can be fixed by having fewer people in the room.
What I propose is that everyone from Series 2 does the event on say sunday at 19h00 gmt???
Also, I think we should move a few of the drivers from series 1 to series 2. Any volunteers? If you did race yesterday, you get a chance to improve your result and you have all the practice under your belt!

Maybe some of the extra guys in our room can run with the European league, I think 15 guys in a room is not gonna help the lag and the other league can do with the numbers anyway. 12 per room is ideal. What do you think Homes?
