I'm going to add CH's (capable hosts) to the sheet later on, not this week. I need to go over a few things concerning the use of the sheet (as well as other sheets as of yet unannounced) before we allow more people to be authors. So CH's can all expect to get a short PM soon đź‘Ť

PM all qualifying times to Denilson and he will post them in the sheet itself. Do not post official qualifying times in this thread before they've been official added to the qualifying registry. Only drivers may post and discuss their own qualifying times before they're posted on the sheet, that's up to the individual driver to decided to reveal.

Right guys i will prob hold a quali room in a few hours if anyone is up for it.

REMEBER its only 1 lap and the lap starts after the 2nd sector which is after the 1st chincane on the striaght

I'll come along.

To calculate, take the total time and convert it into seconds.

E.g. 4:03.561 = 243.561 seconds.

Take this number away from sector 1 and second 2 added together.

E.g. sector 1 time = 30.729 seconds. sector 2 time = 40.133 seconds

Qualifying time = 243.561 - (30.729 + 40.133) = 243.561 - 70.862 = 172.138

= 2:52.138

Made the times up btw.

Any quali times to report?

nathreal: You can join, but only in the GT300 class.
GT500's is filled up already.

If you still want to join, and stay commited thru out the entire season, you may attend quali tomorrow.

But there id 1 thing I need you to do before entering an official WSGTC event:
Read the entire OP ( post 1-4 ), and make sure you fully understand all rules, allowed mods, procedures etc. If there is something you don't understand or if you got any questions, feel free to post here or send me a PM. đź‘Ť

That's great Pagi! đź‘Ť
Even tough the Lexus is downgraded. Makes me believe that I actually did a good job sorting the allowed mods out. :sly:

Hey Chorda,

I think the 5 second penalty is a bit much is someone was to have a dirty lap, i think we should change it to 1 second for everytime its dirty

Pagi, 5 seconds is only added to the time if the driver could've gained any time.
If the driver beyond any doubt did not gain any time, no penalty is added.

5 seconds as a penalty will stay. I got one myself last time at La Sarthe.
The reason for the rule is to really make the drivers concentrate at staying on the track. If we reduce the penalty, it will open up for more aggressive, less controled laps.
It's up to the driver to stay on track with 2 wheels at all times. And we are driving alone, without any other cars close by.

Hope you understand, and accept my standpoint? đź‘Ť

Completely agree.đź‘Ť

the last section I do feel was dodgy but I was a bit out of control and lost time because of it. I think the main problem is the hairpin at the end of the mulsanne straight.

to be honest, I did hit the bollards but I thought I stayed 2 wheels on the track.
Yes, I saw. But I don't think you get DQ'ed for that.

Sorry for the pointless posts.:dunce:
I didn't think the times would be set on the board so quickly.

MĂśLE_9242;5485329
room still open?
No. I could open a room again, but I'm no steward. And the steward who hosted the rooms are gone.

I'll get one open for you Mule. It'll be up in a minute.

C-Fal, you can touch, hit, run in to anything as long as you got 2 wheels on track at all times. Pagi will watch your replay, and come to a decition. đź‘Ť

Going outside the white line prior the hairpin in the end of the straight, will give you a better line thru the corner, and will make you gain time.
If you should go wide after, and end up with your left set of wheels in the sand to make you slow down a lot, your lap time will stay.
Hope you see the difference?

I do understand that it's annoying to get a 5 sec penalty for a minor mistake (Believe me, I know the feeling).
But no one had anything to say about that rule until it actually was used.
Don't want to sound like an a****e, but I'm sure you see my point. đź‘Ť

One major reason I made the OP as huge as it is, is to cover all the small details, amking me get less arguments of why this, and why that. It's in the OP. I don't judge the situations one by one, and in different ways. I simply look in the OP what the penalty for a sertain incident is, and apply it from what the OP says. It's never a personal thing. đź‘Ť

Cool, thanks.

Tested both the Garaiya and Celica, and I could get more out of the Celica. The extra 100+ ft-lbs of Torque means a lot.

All we need is a Diesel Super GT car now

Ok, so MULE did quali.. Makes it 7 cars as of now.

I'm expecting 10 + cars tomorrow.
As always, last day will be crowded. And a lot of pressure doing quali with 10 plus people watching..

As I said before, I will open up a quali-room tomorrow (Thursday) at 16.00 PM (GMT), and keep it open until 19.00 PM (GMT).
And when I leave, we still got 5 hours to deadline (00.00 AM (GMT)).
I hope that a steward from the other side of the Atlantic sea can host the last hours. Or someone in England or similar that like to stay up late. :D

*Also, let's get everyone in the habit of using this really easy to remember bit.ly link to the spreadsheet instead of the entire long ass code :)
