After a few more practice runs and some tuning (MAN!!, tuning for this track is HARD!) I finally lost a few more seconds.. Down to 6:01.2XX now.. Anyone know if that's an ok time? I really suck at this track, but I felt that I actually did a really good lap for once.. Question is if I can come close to this time when I only got 1 shot.. Think I'm going to play it safe. It's not the type of track you want damage in the early stages...

If anyone else said that, I'd really belive that I suck at Nurburgring.. But now, I think that time is great and you're just trying to get to me.. ;)

I will try late some few laps.. ;)

Man we are online here. Well my kids PS3 is. Haven't checked mine. Theirs been on all night. So might have relevance. Checking mine asap.

are you guys getting these 6 minute laps around nurb 24h?

Yes, around Nurburgring 24h from the sector just before "Flugplatz" to the finish line. 👍

Don't know if 6 minutes is a good time yet...

As PSN is still down i dont think we will be racing a random event tonight even tho nobody signed up anyway lol

If the PSN is not up and running by Wednesday, the grid will be lined up as the drivers tables. No bonus for Pole Positin will be handed out.

If the PSN is not up and running by Friday at Connect Time (21.00 PM (CET), 20.00 PM (BST), 19.00 PM (GMT), 15.00 PM (EST), 12.00 PM (PST)), the race will be postponed for 1 week.

Welcome back Senn. And thanks for being good enough to post contingency plans for us Denilson. You're the best organizer 👍 much respect.

Thanks Wardez! I'm doing my best. 👍

It's a bit sad that we got this PSN issue in the wery end of the season. We already had a lot of drivers missing, and this PSN setback might cause even more drivers to drop out.

All we can do is keep track of the problem and start to organize our way thru it. We can only wait at the moment, but by keeping everyone informed on how we will handle the race-schedule will hopefully minimize the damage this PSN setback will cause us.

BTW: I'm totally convinced that season 2 will be a great championship! I got a lot of ideas that I want to share with you guys. And I'm sure you also got a lot of great ideas. 👍 Looking much forward to it! 👍

I've just started up a discussion thread for season #2. If you got any ideas, feel free to post them in the thread called: ::::: WSGTC 2 discussion ::::: 👍

Yes, around Nurburgring 24h from the sector just before "Flugplatz" to the finish line. 👍

just to confirm, is flugplatz the downhill section (after the long right) that snakes left and right?

flugplatz is the section just before the downhill section, so the long straight running up to the 90 degree corner, followed then by the downhill section :)

In the downhill section just before flugplatz, there is a sector marking.. That's where the start of the quali will be. (Unless PSN is up and running 1 hour prior connect time tomorrow. Probably won't) And if PSN is not up by tomorrow 1 hour prior connect time, race will be postponed to next friday. Same procedure as this week. PSN opens up before deadline for quali, we'll do quali (and will extend quali deadline at least 24 hpurs.). If PSN is up and running after official deadline is passed, we'll use the standings tables to determin our grid spots.

Use this map to locate where "Flugplatz" is, and just before that section there is a sector line. That's where quali (if we'll do quali) will start. And on this large track, like La Sarthe, we will only get 1 shot. 👍

I was going by full lap. Boy was I really wondering where I lost that much time. Hahahaha now gonna have to wait till PSN is working to try again.

HAHAHA!! Yea, kind of hard to do a full lap in 6 minutes..

I got a 6:01.XXX just before PSN went down. Still don't know if that's a good enough time. But it felt really fast. 👍

Did a bit a practicing today. Just wondering what other GT300 times people are getting.

Not quite sure which sector to start counting from off the top of my head (I'm too lazy to check at the moment), but I'm either running a 6:22 or a 7:06.

Just done a couple of laps now, done a 6:19.043 but I need to tweak a bit on my top end gear as I'm on the limiter down the straight and in a couple of other places. But tbh, not going to bother testing properly until we all get back online since the grip levels are so different.
