I can host a quali session to night for a couple of hours. The room will open up around 20.00 PM (BST), 21.00 PM (CET), 15.00 PM (EST). I will keep it open for about 3-4 hours.
I'll post the room number in this thread as always.

And remember, this is Nurburgring, you'll only get 1 quali lap starting from the sector just before flugplatz al the way to the finish line. We are using the 24 h layout.

On another note: I just did some casual racing with JPzer and a bunch of others at the Nurburgring. The racing was awsome and I'm really looking forward to finish this season and get season number 2 going. 👍

have just done some testing just to get the feel of the car spun out two times on three laps:( need to improve....

About the same. The rear of the RX7 is very loose, doesn't take much to send you round, have been doing some testing to try and address that :)

I did the first 2 laps with only a minor slide, but it felt weird. Need to practice online physics again.

Oh. Did i said it started raining??

my biggets problem is the carricola karrusel i really cant get a way round that corner fast both times i spun was it there

oh have just found out that i will not be able to race this friday:( so see you on suzuka will keep an eye on this thread btw just did a lap where i did not drive down on the concrete in the karrusel and it was a 6:18 dont know if that is good...

That's unfortunate. 👎 See you at Suzuka. No one else from gt300 is allowed to miss the race now! :P

I did 3 laps earlier aswell and had 1 full spin at the Karussell. I think it just needs to be taken carefully with a slow entrance to the corner. I did a 6:14 earlier with a half spin at the Karussell (just managed to catch the slide) and with a slightly dodgy moment at the second part of Metzgesfeld.

I'll be at quali later, as soon as the room opens. :)

Will be at quali later too I think. I don't think I can match a 6:14 (or even a 6:18 for that matter) but just aiming to get a good grid slot, I don't think outright pace will matter here :)

Also yeah, have noticed since GT5 launched that the Karussell has really got a lack of grip online, much more than the usual online lack of grip. Guess it's just because it's a concrete surface, but it needs to be patched really - it's nothing like that in real life! In real life the karrussel seemed to be the grippiest part of the whole circuit, pulls you round the corner whether you like it or not :P

(Also this might be a stupid question but... did the RX7 always have the rear view (cockpit view) that it does at the moment? I thought when you looked back when using the cockpit view, you just saw road, but now I see all the rollcage etc. - Either that or it's just been so long since I played GT5 that I've forgotten, haha :sly: - but just curious!)

I'll open up the room in about 20 minutes.

Andil: I noticed something similar in the Ferrari 599 cockpit. The gueges does'nt look as I recall..

Gota do some things first so I'll be at quali at around 10pm.

Scrap that. On my way

Hey guys, looking forward to racing this Fri although this is definitely my least favorite track to put it gently ;) I'll just be looking to quali in D1 and then keep it on the road in the race. Do we really have to race at night? This track is scary enough in broad daylight...

Just did quali, managed a 270 degree spin on the exit of 2nd karussell (stuck a wheel on the grass) and a trip across the grass earlier in the lap for good measure :P - so, meh, bring on the race I think, my quali sucked :P

the rx-7 have hat that rear view it is only the lexus and garayia (in gt300) where you just see the road from cockpit view i think:)

This race is same class. So just make sure to stay top 14 and everything will be fine :)

Double checked my lap and it was 6:11.693 👍 Thanks Mole :P

Looking forward to the race on Friday. It will be put a nice end to the day seeing as I have a 3 hour, 15 minute exam in the morning!

Aderrrm

Cool, thanks for double checking. £50 says thats gt300 pole :P

Edit: oh wow I fail, just realised i'm not here on friday, or the friday after (racing commitments), so I needn't have embarrassed myself in quali tonight, but it also means I wont be able to race wsgtc till next season now, argh :( - also means I will drop 3 rounds for my championship total, so the gt300 title is probably up for grabs too D:

That sucks... If it's ok with everyone, I think we could move the last race one week in order to have you racing for the championship.

Since PSN was down for such a long time, no one had the oportunity to plan the WSGTC races, cause no one knew when it was going to come back. I myself am also in the danger zone of missing this weeks race..But I'll really try to make it!

hi guys. how is everyone?

i'm hoping to do my quali lap later this evening, probably around 8:30pm...will anybody have a room up or shall i open one myself?

Hi HortusIX! I'm fine, especially now when we can get going with the championship. 👍

I'll open up a room at around 21.00 PM (CET), 20.00 PM (BST), 19.00 PM (GMT), 15.00 PM (EST).

And I'll keep it open all the way to deadline. I hope that as many as possible will show up. I did send out a few PM's, but not sure I sent to everyone. Have not heard from M4Hwheel, UAE_ReDLiNe, GTP_monoha, Nycrom, CaptainFalcon89, Wardez, Shrugging_Atlas, donoman3000, maximus254, schumi74, bakugekiki, bkeveryday, Vagabone, Jimmy109820, Jav127610, Centura, GTP_NJ_CAM, and a few others.. Where are you guys?

Scanny_Flick can't race this week as far as I know.

I'm for the race. Sorry I didn't respond to the PM, I've been busy lately.

I'll probably qualify Thursday 👍 Can't wait to race again.

Yeah I wouldn't mind if we pushed the final race back a week. We should respect our most committed drivers. :D

Great to hear from you! 👍

But quali deadline is later today. 20.00 PM (EST) is deadline. Don't know exactly your time zone, but deadline is 20.00 PM (EST), 17.00 PM (PST) to day.

But perhaps we should move the deadline since PSN just got back up and some of us might not've noticed. What you guys think?

Will probably move the last race one week to make sure Moleman (and probably a few others) can complete the championship. After all, the outage was nothing that we could do anything about, and when we decided the schedule, all of us planned things this weekend or did not even look this weekend up since the championship shoul've been completed already...
Some of you had your say, and as it looks now, we'll move the final race one week.
So next friday could be a WSGTC 2 test. Where we try some of the new rules etc. What do you guys think?

Btw: I got a quali/practice room up for a few hours. I'll have to leave for "hrmmm" private stuff at around 6 PM (BST). So I'll open up a new one when I get back at around 8 PM (BST), that I'll keep open until deadline (deadline is subject to change).

Roomnumber: 1472-4711-0382-0868-6048
