Man such a good preparation up to the race but it all went down the drain when i made a mistake on the first lap and losing the rear in the corckscrew, i was recovering but Masi hit me on the side wich sent me into the nearest wall cause heavy damage and made me pit on lap 2 already.

I veered left and avoided you, but i guess you veered back to me and that was it :( wrong place, wrong time i guess...

By the way, very clean race for the GT500 guys... hats off to everyone 👍

For the one's who did not finish, there's always next week :D

Congrats to Sigma!

Off to Nurburgring GP!

Congrats to Sigma!

was a close race at the front, i started catcing on the last 5 laps wish there was more as i wanted some on the action lol.

looking forward to the next race....

Really great race guys 👍

Awesome fun, defiantly worth the build up.

@ Sincx, that was a mega impressive performance mate. My GT-R wasn't actually faster, I noticed that it was slower in a straight line out of slipstream, that said it is much easier to drive than the NSX, which meant my tyres were still in good condition at the end of the race, which is why it was much quicker at the end.

Very impressive driving under pressure, you made no major mistakes, and that NSX looked tricky to drive, shame it started to fall away at the end, could have been a nail biting last lap. :scared:

D2 Results

We had 2 players that couldn't connect prior the race and one driver lost connection doing race, so just a field of 7 drivers. But clean and smooth race otherwise 👍

Cheers guys! :-)

First few laps were really fun with Sonic, swapping places for the lead of GT300 with absolutely minimal contact, thanks man. He made a mistake I think on the exit of the corkscrew (I think?) so that gave me some free air to push for a few laps. Then just managed tyres, kept out of the way when being lapped by the GT500s, and tried to maintain a reasonable gap to 2nd. Know I had about a 13s lead with 3-4 laps to go, but that seemed to grow to 28s by the end, so I guess something must have happened there.

All in all enjoyed it, imo the heavy damage makes for a very intense race, requiring a lot of focus and attention. I think the hard tyres are better too, that way you make up time by being consistent rather than having outright pace which is what happens on the softs. Also the Lexus seems a lot closer in pace (maybe as quick actually) as the RX7/Arta on the hard tyre, whereas on the soft it's definitely not the case, so I like it for that too :P

Can't wait for next race :D

@ GTP_Monoha - Much smaller grid for D2 this time... very unfortunate about the connection issues, did you set your settings to Low, Standard, or High?

well i lost the car when i was fighting with moleman then an impact with imari i think and then a big crash at the wall because my brother accidentally shut off the tv. made 2 pit stop and managed to come third in gt300. i guess under these circumstances i couldnt do anything more.:D

I had it on standard and disabled voice. But I think I (host) have to clear cache before hosting aswell maybe? Blitz187 and faqoldschool was in before they got the issues.

I was closing in on you two, about 1-2 seconds when i spun on turn 6 (Under the bridge uphill). After that, i managed my tires also. I think i could've been more aggressive. When both Imari and Sonic got into trouble i took the GT300 2nd place. I thought you were too far out so i just settled in. And then i got a call, that's why it grew :P i was basically steering with one hand, going offroad a few times...

That was right after the pit-stop, i saw you :dopey:

Anyway, great race! I just wish i didn't spin out :(

also i think that damage should be set light. so people dont get frustrated . Medium tires might be better to race with

Yah, you should have. We live and learn :) good thing its the preseason... Sorry for the people who missed out on D2... and where is Falcon?

I found out I drove much more smoothly and even faster when I'm pressured from behind.. unfortunately it was afrikan_kat that was lapping me, hehe. But I got my 3 fastest laps done doing that time! Hopefully next time I won't be the last GT500 on the starting grid 👍

I'll 'try' and post a review sometime tomorrow on the next thread.

I disagree. It's part of racing. It certainly helped me stay patient and consistent (other than my misadventures with my phone call :D).

Congrats to everyone.

Anyone will do a race report of D2??

I can do it, just don't want to waste time and have another person do it at the same time.

I was quite unhappy about that. I gave you more than enough room to stay clear, and I still got punted into a wall. It looked like you tried to cut me off while I was still alongside you.

Your very welcome kamykaze 👍 just leave my newbness out of it! :-p hehe

I hate this Replay system with a Passion... no rewind, no fast forward, no hot-keys to switch to another car... *sigh*

It will be 50 minutes before i post the fast laps... running it now...

Indeed, I clipped sincx on lap 26, damaged the car lightly, the steering was knocked out of alignment. While it was slightly frustraiting knowing i couldn't afford to fix it, it wasn't loosing me much time, and it was fun to drive around it. We did almost 30 laps of racing and only actually touched two or 3 times, it always makes you that little bit more careful.

no i didnt try to cut u off. as soon our cars touched it seemd that my car stucked on you.

i bieleve nurb gp d is better for gt cars rather than gp f which is for f1 cars

I guess we'll have a vote.
