p.s. We'll be doing Rolling Starts, although we won't be needing a full lap for the Formation. The start will be somewhere after the first chicane of the Mulsane Straight (sector 2 marking).

It seems like I wont be drinking beers on fridays for a while.. But that's fits me perfect! 👍

I'll realy miss Indy, it's one of the best tracks imo. A little sad to see it go. But I agree that the season is long already.

How about using a pace car? Is that something we could concider? We are only 14 cars/race. So if someone is not able to stay for the whole race, he can drive the pacecar if he want to.

Or someone who did not make the qualification, but still want to be involved. I'd love to drive the pacecar if I'm not qualifyed to race 👍

I had the concept rigged in since Monaco, but the assigned pace/safety cars never showed up I did become a pace car once though - it was the D2 race for Monaco. Used a Lexus IS-F. It should be in one of the galleries (Post 3).

if its already long why do 2 suzuka's....

if you want to keep the length take suzuka out and put indy road in..

Plus why not swap monza with Nurg/gp/f as i think puttin the 2 nurgs together is basicly same track but with the extra bit lol Plus La Sarthe and monza is just mainly straights so maybe to spread them apart also (if this makes any sense lol)

I personally like it as it is, but will will probably lean towards removing the 2nd Suzuka race and add Indy Road.

Grid for this week is set on championship positions, rather than mess about doing qualifying. Normal procedure returns when we start the full championship, afaik.

i dont think it is a good idea to have so many split class races i can se it will be a problem in monaco if there was split classes but on the other circuits i can not see it be a problem. i mean nurburgring is so long so i dont think the gt300 cars wil be lapped many times.
btw i will miss the last to rounds of the championship because im on holiday in New York.

Agree with Senninha -would like to see Laguna Seca be a mixed class race. Imo only "single class" races should be the long Nurburgring race, and Monaco.

I don't mind Indy Road not being there though - there are so few proper passing opportunities at that circuit, it's a nice circuit but never felt there was enough space to pass anywhere other than into the first corner.

If you look at the voting between the number of people wanting 'same class' vs. 'mixed class', its almost a 50/50 split.

I think Masi's proposal is excellent trying to satisfy both opinions. 👍

It would be different scenario if one alternative got a clear majority of the votes.

The problem being that 75 people have voted in the poll, and we have more like 35-40 drivers at best signed up, so it's not very representative. A lot of people have voted who haven't ever raced in this series. Also don't forget that the series was started as split-class, so people knew what they were signing up for.

Masi, for your records I have made a final decision on what car I will be driving.


I circled back to the original car I came in here using..same Livery, that one had strut braces and extra parts for other racing......this one is stock as stock can be. Broken in, oil changed, washed, and race ready....never to be driven again anywhere accept online.

Just had two or 3 races with some others from here, if i get time tomorrow i might post some photos....

Things i noticed DAMAGE lol good thing it got better as the races went on. IKts cool seeing it going from day to night and also a bit of rain but it didnt last long enough for wet tyres...

Also i would like to point out that the straight (tighter) after the 2 big striaghts there is only just enough room for 2 cars, could everyone stick to 1 lane and not sit in the middle of the track as an attacking car will not be able to overtake... i think this will result in a pentalty as its blocking
