I'm not sure about adding more GT500 cars. I only considered the other Standard GT300 cars for the lack of variety with the Premiums. Unfortunately, seems like only the Celica is capable of keeping pace. Was pretty disappointed with the Silvia and the IS200. The other cars are just the older versions of themselves, so really, only 1 car was added. I'm still not sure with the MR-S meanwhile as i have not seen anyone use it yet. Also, the Atenza seems like it could use a mod or two to keep pace. Love the exhaust note on that thing.

Yes i agree with banning the z it does seem very superior compared to the others. Also thinking about it (Johnkiller) i think i did see a turbo sign on the z il check when i get home from work, and also yes on replays we could see if people are cheating...

So whats going to happen about the Lexsu SC430 with it turbo???
 
Do you still think of allowing turbo upgrades on the Lexus. I tried it and haven't found it superior so far. In that shape, mine has about 535hp, so it is of some concern it could be the same as the Nismo Z, a better car once dialed in. Numbers never lie (or do they).

I've got the Lexus Denso fully broken in with turbo upgrade, it only makes 538hp, and it is actually just fast enough to keep pace with the GT-R's i think. So it isn't even close to be like the Nismo Z 👍

Is there any downside of allowing older GT500 cars. I have two older NSXs. Similar spec to the 2006 models, but they are not that twitchy to drive. A bit more user friendly which might make more people to drive the NSX.

Nothing wrong with giving people the opportunity to chose, and I don't see the risk of one being superior. In the Z case, you can easily just look at the spec, the 534hp is more powerful than enything else.

Definetely the pece of Lexus with turbo upgrade now is near the GTR, but again faraway the Z. Without turbo for the Sc430 no chance to win something.
 
@ Johan - Performance wise, i think they are all pretty similar to the Super GT's, but what's turning me away from them is the standard modeling. That's really a major factor in my decision not to include any of them at this point.

Masi. You have mistaken me with ayrton. I was the one who went wide in the first lap, and had to catch up. And i only could catch you because you were going nuts overtaking eachother. :sly: If you had hold your lines you would have puled a gap on me.

I personally think the older gt500 cars should be in it, i have the xanvi hiroto gt-r '01 (i think) and its just as good as the other gtrs, but handles better, i have the high range turbo and doesnt even slide out the corner at full throttle like the other gt500's
even though it only has 35/60 downforce unlike the others

I am signing up, hopefully a miracle will happen before the race as i dont have the user/password to access my router, so still nat type 3 :( , although i think kamykaze will be a good host as i can usually join him even when he has over 12 people in the lobby and quality is still good

Anyone explain the reason the EPSON is slower then all other NSX's? ? ?


If the Nismo Z is so fast, Why could I not pass a Raybrig NSX last week on the main straight? I was in the draft stepped out to pass and well never got around! I was like WHAT? ? ? I thought it would be rape on the front stretch.

I want to use the EPSON badly, but afraid the weight and HP will kill its performance comapared to others.

I have a Xanavi GT-R broken in and all stock. not one mod installed, so that prob be my choice. Besides it packs a V8!


Hassle but I am in for this:
To prevent cheating, all cars before entering the race go to tune area, CAMERA's or other recoding devices on. You show no mods on all spots where we can mod via the tune area. Once you shown no parts installed enter race and wait to start. . . .prob kill video if you have no parts at all to install. Best to wait close till race countdown in like 10-15.....

For race to be valid you have to post video proving the cars out put aka power as well it has no mods what so ever.

the mr-s isnt bad 123 can match his time of a 1:57 on monza with it and with no mods on it at all.

I done some tests earlier. Some subjective, some easy to test.

Top speed
1, NSX (306km/h)
2 GTR/Z (300km/h)

Acceleration
1, Z
2, NSX
3, GTR

Handling/easy to drive
1, GTR
2, Z
3, NSX (but that's me. Cannot drive it. If you can, it might be top spot)

The Z has such strong acceleration. That's why its superior. NSX has bigger torque than GTR, and probably better aero hence best top speed even if it has lowest HP. Top speed is the only thing dead easy to measure.

All the NSX are the same bar the Epson. One spec is not as good, cannot remember which. I think its heaver. That's probably why nobody uses it.

I noticed from the list of eligible cars that the Nissan C-WEST RAZO SILVIA ‘01 wasn't on there. Isn't that car one of the original GT300 cars from JGTC series? Was it not included in your list for a specific reason?

I am involved with another GT300 based series and I was just curious about the absence of the Silvia from your list.
 
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think (not tried the car myself) the only reason it's not on the list is that people found it too slow to be competitive.

Just a quick question, is there any difference between the gt-r's. ive noticed that the cockpits are different in some (could be wrong).

I think it is quite easy to see if someone change "not legally" something in the car: of course if you install a turbo stage you can see the indicator,
and if someone mod. the naturally aspirated engine, it is very simple to see..:
the rev engine number change from the standard...: increases .. so if you have a GTR or NSX mod. all can see that rev engine number are more... the only thing not checked is the frame stiffer .. but just make it legal for all.

👍 yes this is true and if chassis upgrade was allowed for all we are all the same. Cam idea not bad but i dont have a decent camera and who would check vids.
Nycrom is right you can spot most mods easy but someone will always find a way to cheat its part of playing onlinne unfortunately. 👎
