I was a mechanic for 2 years and have had so many cars its just ridiculous really. Favorite was my 79 Malibu. 355sbc dyno it ran 455hp. I would love to find a Chevette and either stick a 4.3 vortec in it or a small block...:)

I would love to have the blue 67stang in my avatar again :(
 
I'm guessing everyone who says such things threw a hundred BHP or so at it, then realised that the stupidly high-powered FF car doesn't handle very well any more.

Well you actually do need your power pretty high to get involved in the Vitz cup. By "high" I mean above 250 hp since a Vitz can't accept much more. :scared: Most folks don't know what to do with a FWD which suffers from intense torque steer! They don't realize you're supposed to stay off the gas for most of the corner.

..Now, the Beginner's League Vitz Cup is a different story! Power can be kept lowish and therefore we can floor it a bit more out of corners.

The Pitz handles fine, with some suspension adjustment and some driver adjustment. The Pitz is actually second only to the Lupo in my fun-to-drive pocket cars list.
 
The Pitz (Pink Vitz or I sometimes call it Piglet) ain't so bad, If ya gotta race one it might as well stick out. The other colors are pretty boring.

I like that silvery-pinkish Elise. I turned it into a rally car though because I kept burning the tires off of it. I was more dissapointed in getting another Elise 190 as a prize for the Elise Cup.

I swear I've won half a dozen various evos in various events that just take up garage space. I wish I had that problem with my real-life garage.

After winning the Avant Garde prize Zonda Racecar, I thought "Why would I want that?" It does actually drive a little better than the streeter.

I wish had the problem of winning a real-life pink Vitz! I'd make mint selling it to some rich chick :lol:

Don't diss the 500; it was a mini before the mini. It started the whole pocket-car class.
Facts:
4million+ sold during 20 year run from '57 to '77
480cc engine, upped to 500cc in 1960
500cc was first 500 NOT to need to be shoved over a cliff to go 60mph, though it was still slow to get there.

After having an horsepower obession with cars in GT3 and GT4 i have found the lower powered cars really fun to drive and to those who for some reason hate the pink Vitz WHY?????? Stick some black rims on it and it looks a whole lot better and it takes a real man to say a pink car looks good:tup:

+Rep for the end of the post. But the Vitz is still a bulls:censored: car. Come on, who wants a understeery compact pig with no style or horsepower? It's always at the redline complaining for an upshift WTF. (I heard that line somewhere.) This piece of crap. This is why I lament the Pro Vitz cup in GT3 so much. :mad:

My first reaction to seeing the Vitz races in the pro league was: WHY???? I thought I would enter the Vitz Cup and smoke them all...but then I found the reason these are Pros--they are DIFFICULT races to win.

The trick comes with exiting corners. You gotta lay off that gas when you exit corners. It takes a lot of discipline actually. If you hammer it, you'll just be hammering those walls, too. :banghead:

Yeah, as you can see, the A.I. installed a turbo also in the Pro Vitz Cup. :) Now they're kind of competitive. Just look at the HUD on the replays.
 
I LOL'ed when I got the Pink Vitz, but it ended up making me about 200 grand + the Altezza LM.

I hate when you win a specific car race, and the game gives you the same car you were forced to race it in.

Skylines piss me off the most though. There about so many of them in the game, and they really don't have much purpose. I hate how in long series, there will be 2 skylines and two good cars to unlock, but the Skylines would come up 80% of the time for some reason. Even with the load trick, it would usually take me about 10-15 tries to get the car I want... The GT40 and GT1 took forever to unlock.

Also, when you enter an endurance race, and instead of getting an F1 or an LM, you get a Nismo Skyline. The same deal is with Lancers too.
