Not really a bad day lol. I was in a drifting lobby at Tsukuba and getting some nice tandems until a guy took the Tank Car out and decided to drive backwards but he was so damn terrible he couldn't even stay on the road. It became a challenge so every time he came for us we just drifted around him.

He finally raged and decided to park the car in the middle on the road, next thing you know, 3 Tank Cars came out of the pits and rammed him off-course and then it all went nuts, we started doing trains and tandems with the Tanks, after 10 minutes everybody took their tanks out and it was hilarious.

It went from a drifting room to a "do whatever the hell you want" kind of room, either drift in-between tanks, drift backwards taking the outside line while another Tank takes the inside line or go after the original troll. Of course, many serious drifters thought it was ridiculous and left the lobby. The best part is that most of the people in the room were pretty skilled with the Tank so we pulled off some nice tricks.

Got kicked from a Nurburgring free run lobby after the host asked me if my Ford GT was hacked (which it was, albeit not crazy). I told him "Yes it is, I'll change to another car if you want."
*Screen goes black*
"You have been rejected"

It wasn't a crazy million+hp car, just a Ford GT with 1,000HP.

Mind you, there was a guy driving a hacked EP Civic going 300+mph down the final straight while this was happening.

The fact that I was minding my own business, along with even offering to switch to a non-hacked car, is the reason why I am angry at this whole situation.

The lobby title even said "Free run all cars". If he didn't want hacks, why didn't he just say "Free run no hacks" or "Free run no hax".
Because common sense.

GT5 = Nutcase heaven.

Here's one that happened like 12 times in a free run room I made last night:

Joins room titled "Small, slow cars" in Cote d' Azur

Leaves immediately after finding out there's a PP limit of 305 hp.

Well, I was in a JDM stance lobby meet. A Lancer with 10.0 camber (What it looked like) passed and I told him it were not my cup of tea. I gotta admit, that was kinda mean, but he told me to go throw myself in a ditch and kill myself. Boy, Doog and MarinaDiamandis would agree with that.

A Performance Point limit of 305 Horse Power. What kind of game have I been playing?

Worst I've dealt with: Waiting for GT Academy 2013 to appear in my PS store.

Make a UK account, and download it from the UK Playstation Store. Since it's classed as it's own game, it should also appear on your main account's games. After downloading and installing it on the UK account, go on your main and start it there. It should work fine.

Brilliant!!!!

I wish we could save replays of free runs.

@Anti-troll group

I would honestly be more interested in starting an anti-hacker group. Also, if you're starting an anti-troll group you'll probably run up against me sooner or later, since I'm still considering things like running unusual PP limits to get rid of Exact PP Limit (dirty oil/power limiter) tunes, using NSX LM road cars and R390s in road-car rooms, the likes of that.

This story isn't the worst story I've had, but it's one of the weirdest.
I'm in a free run lobby with my R10 TDI, and the host decides to start a race. It was all good, me and a R35 TC had a good battle for first and then out of nowhere, a HSV appears in front of us, along with a bumperless LFA appearing in the middle of the pack. The HSV procedes to win by a slim margin. I was fine with him winning, but the fact that 6 people started the race, and 8 finished is suspicious.

This was around the exact moment they appeared..

That first pic is freaky :scared:

Judging by the pictures, you have that replay saved... so, report it? I mean, in this case, even I would report this. Then again, PD might not care that much, with GT6 coming out in 5 months...

I can only assume that they only loaded in the middle of the race in terms of your client. I know there's a glitch where various people just don't load on your side of the server (and vice versa), so...

Yes, odd things can happen with that. I was hosting one day and had a guy who gradually was able to see less and less of the other racers until it was only I think myself and one other he could see out of a nearly full room. One other person(who he couldn't see and looked like a suspect connection to the rest of us) left and suddenly the entire rest of the room appeared on his screen mid-race.

Happens to me a ton, except I've never actually seen people reappear afterwards... I just hope that I'll be able to connect to the GT6 servers just fine, it's a little tiring trying to find a lobby that is both pleasant and full of visible people.

Whatever happened to good hosts?

No need to fret! There do exist good hosts!
...Not many, but still.
There are guys, real guys, probably about 25 guys I meet up with every night, and we get along just fine.
You know, we rarely have any fights, if any, only a few noobs, usually have a good laugh, and the usual 'gonna smoke a victory <insert object here>' (not that I smoke at all, oh no. I'm a good boy :))
But if dirty shuffle racing isn't your thing, oh well...

I joined a lobby last night, it was called JDM meet, i looked at the player list and all but one was American muscle lol, I took out my 300zx anyway and joined the track. I had a few good laps drifting around Suzuka. I saw a few people trying big entry's on the first big bend after the straight all failing terribly. I kept pulling off some amazing entry's then this guys try's to chase me, he keeps hitting me so I ask him to back off which he did, I carry on minding my own business, I get to the straight and see a car parked on the start of the 1st corner the same guy that was hitting me. He's paused so I go ahead and start my big entry then bam he unpauses, I hit him and go off track into the sand, I carry on then he comes up behind me and rams me, I say WTF why are you hitting me, he says your slow, I say the rooms called JDM and your in a vette dam noob then I left ha ha. I guess he was just annoyed that i could nail the entry and he couldnt Pure gel lousy. IMO

Sorry if this is hard to read my punctuation sucks.

I'm always confused as to why people bring non-Japanese cars to JDM lobbies. And the thing is, the people that drive muscle cars or European cars in JDM lobbies can obviously speak the language the lobby's title is written in (English). I can understand if English isn't your native language, but if you see the types of cars everyone else is driving, at least use something from the same country.

I'll admit, I have trolled JDM lobbies in the past on my old account with a distasteful Volvo 240 (Black with red wheels, max camber, front end dropped, rear end raised up, and a huge spoiler), but I don't do that anymore.

Surely the basic reading of the English language is unattainable by some native English speakers these days.

👍 Volvo 240

Yeah bro. I know wut u meen bro. Bro, ppl are stupid, bro. (Mods, please don't give me an infraction for this)

👍 Volvo 240

I now use it for a little bit of drifting here and there as well as going on 2-wheels down the Mulsanne at Circuit de la Sarthe.

Don't even get me started. It's not just reading, but spelling and punctuation as well. Whenever I see someone saying 'your dumb' or 'there defiantly not gowing to improve sound'...

My internal Grammar Nazi becomes the Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse. Not sure why it aches me so much though; I'm from Poland... (needless to say, my fellow Poles can't seem to handle their own language as well)

English isn't even my native language.

I'm Venezuelan (The land where toilet paper and red meat is scarce for some reason :odd:) and I despise using abreviated words like u and r in my sentences. I also try to not misspell my words online in both languages I speak (I also speak spanish).

Another post to add about London. I love that track but people really are awful at it.

I was in a room testing my Audi Pikes Peak Quattro. One of the players decides to pull out a Skyline Pace Car and be a cop. The host, who is around 12 years old pulls out an X1 and starts slamming into everyone. By this time everyone has an X1 and they are going around hitting my cars and cussing at me. The host starts a race by fastest first and I start first in my massive SUV. I get taken out every corner... Kids like this should go back to NFS or COD.

It was a shame as before I had a great 25 lap battle between my 22B and someone in a 90's Lancer.

Some people find a loophole and use Japanese market European/American cars. ex: Renault Lutecia

The thing I now despise of all.

I am at my girlfriends house, and she's playing GT5 online.

She joins a race room and wins 3 650pp races in her GTR TC. The host says "Nice win" (good host. No complaints) and then a guy says "Hey, are u a girl?" She replies "Yes I am. Why?" After this, 3 guys start making kitchen jokes and saying "Shud u not be maken sandwhichis". I flip.

Mic in, I say "Hi, guys. This is (name disclosed)'s boyfriend. A quick note to say while you're sitting there playing GT5 thinking you're hilarious, you realise you are not. You're proving your age and showing that you cannot be respected as a person at all, you're low-life idiots who I'd rather kept their mouths shut."

The kid replies (mic in) "You mad bro? Lol, suck it boy I'm 23 packing heat in the trunk of my Bugatti while you're playing Gt5, run little boy, I'm gonna Nuke ya! Hahaha"

Now, I've been playing Ace Combat: squadron leader lately so the best reply was this "A Nuke? I got the Arkbird, kid."

He was confused and chose to ram into my girlfriends GTR, she then catches him (not hard at all) on the straight, and brake checks him, spins him and drives off. The kid is annoyed and types "KICK HER!" The host says, "sure, I'll kick the little girl." And kicks him. We laugh, share jokes and just have a good time. But still, some kids need to grow up a lot, scary to think they'll soon be the future...

Hahahaha nice. Yeah, it is pretty funny to see how some people react to a woman joining them on a video game. In most cases the immaturity shows right through. Pretty funny, and yes scary at the same time.

Hahahah I ran across a situation like that once... I was just a bystander (SC driver at the moment) though.

Not even I can manage to pull one of those out of my tactical top hat.

Take care of her my friend. You have an awesome girlfriend

You also met the best host in all time ever forever and ever for all time forever

P.S. I also have a history of girls handing my behind back to me on a platinum platter with diamond encrusted pwnage.

Out of 7, yeah. It was pretty cool :)

And don't worry, I will.

I'm also sorry to hear that, bro :(

Sad to see that it exists, really.

There were moments when you just couldn't help but laugh, but it does reflect badly in the online community, people can draw the wrong conclusions from that.
