Well I had a great experience online a couple days ago, I found a cops & cruise lobby run by a bunch of people who actually intended to keep everything under control. Things only got better we began having deep automotive discussions with an incredibly drunk Swedish guy. They're all on my friends list now.

Good times, good times.

Y U NO call me Stig!!!!

That sounds like a good room.

I'm tired of cops rooms being "Yeah, the titles just for show now I'm gonna start the race."

I hate when I'm in a full lobby at Suzuka or Tsukuba and the host starts the race. But it's a DRIFT lobby. Now all the morons are going to spin out and crash into everyone else. So stupid. You don't start a 1 lap race on a tiny course with 16 people in drift cars. You just don't.

Unless you are a part of that one epic Japanese team. (I don't remember where I saw the video, but there was a huge team of all Japanese players pulling off 16-car-long drift trains... IN GT500 CARS! They also had a guy tandem drifting his Civic EK with a Corvette. This was before hybriding came around. And they did some other pretty epic stuff, too)

Just now I joined a cruise room and I was in for about 20 mins and it was good until this guy came in and brought out a redbull x2010 out so I said "kick redbull guy" he then came on the mic and said kick the guy who said I should be kicked. He carried on saying I was German which I am most certainly not then a message appeared You have been kicked

You know who to call.

I really hate when people hate on my racing team, American Dust Racing. What happened almost a year ago people are still talking about. We are a lot more classy and more competitive.

I'll wait for a friend who was with me in the room to show up on this thread to tell my latest and most outrageous story.

What happened? If you want to discuss it, that is.

I think I recently realized why I rarely start cruise rooms - I spend the first hour of creating it going in and out of spectator mode to kick all the people who think 'Left side, 70mph' means 'Racing line, whatever speed you want'... by the time there's a good lobby in my hands I've generally lagged out to the point where half the people in the room are invisible.

Also, I've noticed something really strange in terms of rammers - the Mercedes SL 55 AMG seems to have an incredible density to the point where TANK CARS bounce off of it if they ram it. This isn't just a one-off thing either - I thought the guy who was ramming me in an SL 55 was just lagging a lot, but in a different lobby I brought out my own SL 55 and I was pretty much untouchable by a couple of idiots in Chrysler Prowlers.

That is why i don't either, you spend more time kicking and reciveing hate mail then actually driving.

Hahahaha nice. Yeah, it is pretty funny to see how some people react to a woman joining them on a video game. In most cases the immaturity shows right through. Pretty funny, and yes scary at the same time.

From what I'm seeing online (not only in GT5) I assume that most of us gamers haven't even seen a woman in real life.

Anyway, my recent situation - I was talking (on a mic) with two (later three) nice guys who turned out to love cars about as much as I do. "A wild French dude appears" - said the sudden message.

An all of a sudden, he pulls out his mic and starts swearing at me (only at me). As he said, I'm no idea what a true car is, colors on my cars suck, I can't drive at all (slightly agreed on the last one though:D) I'm no idea what was the cause, I didn't even talk to him or drove close to his riced rides, of which most were GT-Rs, Veyrons, Enzos and such (talk about car knowledge and good taste)... Luckily my silver tongue kicked in and sent him back to his cage (host-kicked after a rain of 'Ohhhhh!'s from my new colleagues). Maybe it's because I'm Polish that he wanted to kill me with his flower-y insults?

Seriously, I am absolutely no idea why did he attack me, and why so violently...

Uuuuuuggggghhhhh...

I just joined a Tsukuba drift lobby. Everyone was going the wrong way and several people brought out their AWD cars like a Subaru Impreza TC and Mitsubishi Evo X TC.

I don't know if AWD cars in a drift lobby annoy anyone else, but they bother me.

If they can control the car enough to follow me and not hit me, I honestly don't care what they drive.

^ I know the difference but still "drift" AWD. I think it's actually harder to drift a AWD and doing so while not hitting the other RWD drivers. I do however have quite a few RWD drifters that I use frequently. It's all a matter of driver skill and respect for other drivers. AWD or RWD if I spin I try to get my self out of the way and off the track so other drivers can pass safely and if I hit someone I always type "MB" as is norm. If you are respectful and some what in control of your car whether it be FWD, RWD or AWD I see no reason to kick anyone.
