I seen this a while back. I didn't know if to laugh or be angry at the immature community.
And you will also see hosts kick people that are winning, although the host will still lose.
Power can always be abused. This is not a reason to force the room to put up with a troll for an entire 30+ minute race or to force the host to have to completely abandon the same race(or beg people for a restart) in order to deal with it.
Pause game, kick jerk, resume race with only a few seconds lost. I sincerely hope they add that feature in the next installment.
This is why a rating system would be awesome. I was leading in a race like this at Circuit de la Sarthe and a lapper took me out in Arnage with 2 to go trying to be a hero. Finished 4th. He finished 13th.Racing on the Nurburgring 24 Hour, in a 6 lap LMP race. Me and second place leading by 5 seconds. Keep in mind that I am driving a full HP Mercedes Sauber with half of the tires left. Second comes beside me and nudges my back end so hard that I end up wheel spinning in 5TH gear and losing it. Finished in 9TH. When I confronted him his reply was simply "lol"
So was in a gt500 room tonight entered as a race was in progress so made a tea and sat and watched the race all seemed pretty clean fast racers odd nudge here and there but nothing bad.
Next track selected was Fuji (my strongest track)
So selected my hsv weider and started the qualifying (10mins from the hosts message) first flying lap I put in a 1:33:1 clear 2 seconds from the next guy so straight away I get a post on chat screen saying I'm a hacker (lucky friend was in room to back me up to say I wasn't) so straight away host changes room settings to recommend cal sonics so again do a lap and I'm a clear 1.5 seconds ahead.
Now the host changes room to grid based on last race so I start at the back.
Race starts I pick my way through cleanly up to 3rd before I have to pit then put in a few fast laps and jump them when they pit gets to lap 14 coming on to home straight the host drops out and types a message saying bye bye and kicks me.
Clearly can't stand having someone beat him fairly
Read the link in my sig below and you'll be fine.
Or on the fly like the settings HUD?The real problem is that kicking someone requires the host to leave the track, lose their position on the track, their lap time etc. PD needs to implement a kicking feature that allows hosts to pause on the track and kick someone without having to go back to the lobby. If hosts can kick on the fly so to speak, I think you'd find a lot more of these clowns gone a lot quicker.

Kick everybody who's in front of you...
Guy rants on about Sebastien Vettel being terrible and him only winning because he has the best car and says its wrong.
Proceeds to pull out a McLaren F1 GTR Racer in a 650pp room.
Proceeds to lose to 3 RX7 TCs.
Proceeds to rant that were in better cars and leaves...
Huh. And I always thought that the McLaren F1 GTR was the best 650PP car in the game.
Exactly. The only reason we won is because the track had corners. He crashed 17 times at the 'Ring. We bumped lightly once.

Try explaining this to people who do nothing but drag. LOLhe must be dumb or something because the car doesnt make the racer win.its the racer itself.

I decided today to try out my newly tuned chrome orange Elise 111R on a nurburgring track lobby; it was fine and even was having a nice drive with someone in a Lancia Delta, but then hell happens. Some idiot in a hacked Takata NSX shows up on the 2nd lap and lags all over the place. It's hard to enjoy any driving when something like that appears to rams you several times since he can't properly drive his overpowered car. He then left a bit later and I resumed my driving. I have said this once and I'll say it once more; I HATE hacked cars.
The ridiculously overpowered hacked cars are a complete nuisance due to abuse of hacking powers, but hacked cars that have well programmed drivetrain, engine and chassis swaps or even wing deletion can be tolerable if you're around people who know what they're doing. I don't like hacked cars either but I at least learned to live with the ones that are tolerable.
I have no problem tbh with the normal, realistic hacks. I'm just referring to the one's that give cars as much or more speed than a stupid redbull x1 and are driven obnoxiously.
