I joined a LMP lobby in hopes of maybe getting a little competitive play. Seemed fairly well, horsepower and weight regs were in place, I thought kiddies would be scared off by the fact that all the aids were turned off save for driving line and ABS. Well, I qualified, I was about 6 seconds slower than 80% of the lobby, but I thought eh, I'll play anyway.

So the race begins, Monza, my yellow Peugeot 908 jumps at the start, but I only gain one position. Few corners down though, and almost immediately the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fastest cars all overshoot one of the chicanes and go into the sandpit, I breeze by, climbing into second. By now, the R8(Which everyone who played GT5 will recognize as being a nuisance.) in first place was somehow a good 15 seconds ahead despite it being the first lap. So I just put my foot down and carefully attempt to maintain my position, being courteous with my braking zones and not divebombing corners.

So last corner of the track, first lap, I slow down, turn in, *SLAM*

Immediately into the gravel pit, and every other car passes me as I spin helplessly into the dirt, leaving me in last place.

I exit the race, comment "Thanks for the ramming." and the host, whom has a mic, refuses to reply, so I promptly exit the lobby.

I was playing GT6 last night, I created a lobby w/ the title "Ferrari 458 clean street racing". I banned all aids (everything except automatic transmission since there isn't an option to ban that one), enabled heavy damage & strong penalties, and restricted car selection to stock 458 Italia only.
A few players entered my lobby, left some angry messages then left the lobby. Apparently I was violating some sort of "GT6 online noob's code of honor" or something.

I've had things like that happen to me since GT5, which I really don't understand. I mean, GT6 has "the real driving simulator" written under its title, but when I create a lobby with "real simulator" settings people complain and give out lame reasons as for why they think I should allow unrealistic driving aids such as SRF & driving line and turn mechanical damage & penalties off.

I was with a friend as we joined this Nordwand short lobby. 450pp limit and I chose a Toyota 86, my friend chose a Honda NSX R, and the other guy chose an Alfa hatchback (can't remember the name) with nitrous so on the straights he was quick, however he had a RWD car while we both had FWD (don't quote me on that, may be wrong), so we caught him in the corners. Cut to around lap 6/15. My friend and I start to pick up on the fact that he was using nitrous, so we start to joke about it over the mic. He then gets very angry as he starts swearing and threatening us to "track us down". So my friend and I contemplate over whether this guy was mad, or being serious. We concluded in about 10 seconds that he was just mad.

We both then come into the pits, 1 lap after he does. He has a 15 second gap on both of us with just 4 laps to go. Cut to lap 13/15 and we were right on his rear bumper. We both overtake on the straight and go side by side over the jump, leaving a gap in the middle of the road. We both broke, and he just completely tried to ram both of us off, unfortunately for him, he just went through the little gap and smashed himself off, ruining his race on lap 14/15, leading us to get a 1-2 finish, with him finishing almost half a lap behind us.

After the race he went on swearing at us, making death threats, and eventually added me on PSN just to take his anger out on me about "I can't afford better cars" and "why I should jump off a cliff". I have saved the race on replay and have some photos from his crash saved on GT6 and on my PS3.

TL;DR: Guy gets really angry about us joking about, tries to crash us off on the second last lap, fails and loses and then goes on to get even angrier.

Wouldn't it be the case that you had the rear-wheel-drive cars and he had the front-drive one?

Went stupidly tonight in a quick match, 500 PP on Trial Mountain. Stupidly, because I promised myself never to do that again since I had experienced before that it's contaminated with kids, beginners, rammers and haters. Anyway, I forgot about it and decided to give a chance to my faithfull Ruf RGT against all those cheat cars, Suzuki GSX, NSX-R Prototype, Miura, etc.

I managed to climb on the podium, second in a race with 15 opponents. Later I was rammed by almost everybody and decided to quit. At this moment an american player send me this personal message: " Learn to drive. U r real bad". :yuck:

I compared our trophies and saw we were about the same level. :) And I just don't know why he was mad about me because I just tried to stay on the track when everybody messed around.

Conclusion: I make now a new resolution for 2015: not to click again by no means on the quick match icon.

Edit: Ok, the good resolutions never last long, do they? I clicked on the icon again but this time, it was not as bad as the other day. Not clean however, let's not dream awake, but at least nobody insulted me.

Might go back there from time to time.

Anyway, at least two problems remain: being penalized when dirty players ram you, plus being disconnected so often is really a pain in the neck. May we hope this to be fixed in the the future?

After the poignant chaos of GTA V, I decided to go back online on GT 6.

Joined a few rooms but wasn't happy with them for a few of the usual reasons.

Joined my final room of the night and got on track in my XJ13.

Guys started making "jokes" about me needing a hearing aid and wearing tweed.

Proceeded to beat their cars by 3 seconds and said "Better to wear tweed than a diaper." Got crap for a while. Was kicked.

Went back on GTA V...

Oh, yeah? You want to make an example of me, eh? QFP.

You just outed yourself and me. A no-no ITT. Note that I never mentioned you name and you are accusing me of causing a lack if faith in humanity for you??? What?

I'm sure you did run a 129, dude lolol. Maybe with tire wear off haha. Otherwise, beau would have trouble with you there and that is not happening. No one is two seconds slower, consistently in this car, suddenly.

You aware blocking is legal? Also you're aware the manner I did it in was legal as well? One move blocks - no right to lefts.

You didn't brake late. We were double wide, went to turn the first right of a chicane and you turn left to knock me off the track. It couldn't have been more obvious. You didn't brake late...we were right next to each other lol. Complete like yadeegson(me)?

LOOL you can't beat the classics from 332i. He certainly was one of the more trolly trolls...

But he won't be missed! I for one don't with a passion!

Why not? Is there a glitch or something that is preventing you from PMing?
Yup. When I click on your name the "start conversation" button isn't there, and when I try to go to your profile page it says that you restricted access to it:ill:.

I recently witnessed severely offensive racism (not directed at anyone in the lobby) from one guy stating he was sitting out the next race "to go find a 🤬 (person of asian origin) to stab". The other members found this highly amusing and all joined in with similar statements/jokes. I was so shocked I left without saying a word, and unfortunately couldn't remember the names to be able to report. They were all under the UK flag btw.

:banghead:

Just the other day I was in a "free run, cafe" Suzuka lobby and joined the track in my 'speed jeep', a military matte green Caterham 7. All was fine, some people having fun chats, others talking tuning, and two drivers having a teacher pupil session (which was very informative.. I learnt a few tips too).

Then the idiot arrived, using the laser guided chaparal missile to constantly attack my jeep (just me). He was zooming around the track the wrong way and ramming me at 250mph+. I dodged a few but he'd pursue and ram me relentlessly.

I decided to fight back and got in my Tank Car... his attempts at ramming merely nudged the brutish tank like tank car and left me with tears of laughter. I felt compelled to return the favour, got a nice run up and hit him so hard several times he silently left the room.

Just to note: theyre the people the UK doesn't want.

The rest of us just drink tea and moan about the rain.
WRONG. I just shout at these imbeciles in a Pepsi-fueled rage, and moan about school and other first-world problems.
There's no tolerance towards prejudice.

Well of course we drink Pepsi too

Pepsi tea... pepstea

Anyway, my point was they're bad apples. Not the whole bunch.

Coffee here thanks. I like the rain... Means I can't be out doing anything on my day off so more GT.
Might like it but we Brits still moan at complaining.
