Never ever ever ever ever !
Just wondering if anyone would like to see all the F1 Teams in GT5 instead of the Prancing Horse......i know i would.

Thing is we all know what PD can do and what type of cars they can put in GT5, but it's not always what the masses want. I know that i dont want to be racing against nothing but Ferrari's because when you look to the replay's you cant even spot your own car unless your'e as irratic as Felipe Massa was when he started with Minardi:nervous:

Just a thought because i think it would be nice to see and choose other teams with your favorite driver's.

Give me youor thought's please.:)

No,becuase GT is no F1 Sim and the Physics of the Ferrari F1 2007 are not "realistic" its much too easy to drive... (who knows how a F1 car feels, but im true it ain´t feel like in GT5P) I think the physics from the CDTP05 Mod @rfactor are much more realistic, its nearly impossible to hold the car on the track if you turn all driving aids off...

So its better we get an real F1 Sim for the PS3... my opinion...

But for fun driving they can put all teams in GT5 :) (if they get any license)

The PS3 already has a great F1 game (F1:CE). I think that game is very underrated and I believe all driving fans should check it out. Playing that game with all driving aids off is absolutely rediculous! I love it!

You are correct. But i have played F1 CE online and there are loads of people that play it. Online it's very high paced and if youre not on point then you will get no where....:ouch: and yes the punters there are worse than racing on GTP.

A couple yes (to keep the Ferrari company), All? No, I personally would rather see more road car based racers.

Well i am not a F1 fan but i dont mind more cars as long as nothing more interesting for me gets cut because of that.

Definitely, I would like to see more F1 cars in GT5 when it is released. Maybe not all of them, but certainly a few more would be nice.

I'd like to see no more than the number of 'Formula' cars that was included in GT3. If anything, I'd like to see a mock GP2 car or something similar alongside the F2007, but not much else. Even though a lot of people didn't enjoy some of the slower road-going cars from previous releases, to me they're the bread and butter of what GT is about.

I would at least like 16 different paint schemes so the Formula One races don't look like one of those 1,000 car projects from Trackmania.

Why cant they include a generic F1 car/GP2 car or whatever with 20 colour options. Makes more sense. And in depth tuning options would mean they are never all the same.

no,just the ferrari and a couple of old ones(60's..) will do fine....

as said above, there are allready some super F1 games around who focus on F1 purely,it should stay just like that...

spyrrari.

All teams? no thanks GT is not a F1 game!

Just the principal teams cars:

-McLaren
-Ferrari
-BMW Sauber
-Renault
-Toyota

and some classics F1 racers will be nice.

With a total of 8 or 10 F1 cars MAX!

:D

-> Why!? I don't like GT to end up to be an F1 game, it will be too boring (based on my previous experience on F1:CE). Plus there are other 'licenced by Bernie's regime' games out there. And I highly agree to this dude:

^ It makes the most sense, but it would make it complicated overall. And it would not give other notable cars a place in GT5. And that I don't like at all. More on production-based race cars and tuned cars in my opinion. ;)

You missed: Williams, Benetton, Brabham, Lotus, Tyrell, Minardi, Jordan....these are all more "principle" than Renault, BMW Sauber or Toyota are.

For all those saying "leave it to F1:CE" I'd just like to say that although F1:CE does a great job at being an F1 simulator, it lacks the cars, it only has a few choice cars outside of the 2006 season cars and it lacks some of the classic tracks. Also, F1:CE is not going to be updated....because Codemasters are not exactly going to do a good job are they? I'd like to drive some of the 2009+ machines too, with their vastly different aero rules and KERS devices.
I personally would love to see a bigger F1 presence on the GT physics engine and I would certainly love to see some classic F1 cars get some more love, they don't get enough from "proper" F1 games, such as the fan cars, etc.

Now, I agree that we don't need "all" of the teams...many are not worthy of being remembered and why would you want to drive badly-made F1 cars that shouldn't even complete a race, such as the Life cars?
On the other hand, it would be nice to expand the collection to include some historic and notable cars from various F1 teams over the years and a couple from the same seasons so head-to-head races can be held.

I don't understand how some of the people in this very thread will say "yes" to NASCAR but "no" to F1, what's the difference? Both have their own games and both don't fit the "street cars are what GT is about" ideal. I'd love to try and compete different kinds of cars against Formula 1 machines and I'd certainly love to tackle courses like the Nurburgring with a Lotus 25.

So, I say yes, but only for the notable teams and cars with a few exceptions which are the heart of F1, such as Minardi, Arrows and Jordan.

👍 Good answer. 👍 Not all things are possible, but lets hope that we can have what we need to make it more interesting, which is what everyone is looking for.

Not sure why everyone thinks the inclusion of more F1 cars will turn GT in a F1 Simulator, its not as if the author suggested them replace the road cars like some people keep insisting that PD do(anyone remember the "Real Racing Simulator" Thread?). Like all of the cars on the game, you have the option of not choosing them. As a car buff and Huge race fan, I like the idea but am not sure how I want it. On one hand, I haven't found an F1 car from the modern era that I didn't find great looking(Excluding the rather 2009 cars) so I would love to have them, even the backmarkers but on the other hand, I wouldn't mind just several from the Manufacterer teams like Toyota or Honda or Renault or even Mclaren Mercedes and BMW Sauber. I wouldn't mind the classic cars either as I'm a sucker for the Tyrrell P34 and the Lotus 72E.

Of course I remember the 'Real Racing Simulator' thread ;). I have since changed my tune, for the record.

As long as there is more than just the Ferrari, I will be happy. One of the greatest things about GT4 was that, although more would always be better, there was a respectable amount of cars from different classes. A couple DTM cars to choose from, a couple GT1s, LMPs, JGTC etc. The ideal situation for me, and I think (?) I'm being somewhat reasonable, is to have the F1 cars from a certain season (2009 or 2010, I'd assume), and have a few random cars, vehicles important to the sport's history, added to it as prize cars (Lotus 72, Tyrell P34, etc.).

Not all the teams but the Ferrari, Renault, McLaren, Toyota, and Williams.

+ all the great f1 cars of the past Like the Lotus 72, McLaren M23, Ferrari 312T4, Brabham BT44, Mclaren MP4/4 (was in GT3), and more.

To those saying GT is not an F1 game. You're right it isn't, it is an everything game which includes F1. I hate it when those of you that don't like proper motorsport make it seem that F1 cars ruin a game. They dont.
