Would you like to see all the F1 Teams in GT5

BMW, Ferrari, and McLaren. That's it. I don't want 20 F1 cars in the game, but a couple would be great.

I like how GT3 had 7 Formula cars, but GT4 only had 1. :(

Only 3?????? And whats more I'm assuming you mean only modern ones? (not to mention one of the teams you mention (BMW) has barely any significance in F1 terms at all!!! Include BMW and not Lotus or Williams? Are you completely mad?)

Thats like saying Formula 1 has no historical significance and teams and cars such as the likes of Williams, Tyrrell, Brabham, Lotus and the rest are irrelevant and are not worth driving!
If we were to have a good representation of some historic F1 cars, 20 at least would be preferred.

I'd rather have no F1 cars than the latest from Ferrari, McLaren and BMW. Do it right, or don't do it at all.

No, no, no. I am saying I do not want to see the 20 car grid of 2008 in there. If we are talking ALL time, I'd want a few from each different era. V8, V10, Turbo, N/A, classics, and some with newer technology. They already have the Ferraris in Prologue, so a nice modern McLaren Mecedes to even out competition would be nice.

I'd love it for the last race in the game to be a Formula Championship, I don't think Formula One cars take away from the GT series at all - they reward the player with the fastest cars for putting in the effort.

You don't think the F2007 is right? It is not a classic and it's not historical but that is one AMAZING achievement.

I have no hatred towards the F2007; it's simply that (and I probably should've made this clear in my original post) that I would prefer that if PD include F1 cars, I would prefer if more than just 2 or 3 are there, particularly if they are 2 or 3 recent cars from McLaren, BMW, or Renault. I'd prefer if they do what they did with Group C (or, in more broad terms, Le Mans cars in general) - that is, have cars from several different eras, from the 50s onwards. It just would seem a bit weak in my opinion for PD to be backslapping themselves over 'including F1 cars' if it turns out to be the F2007 and 2 more cars from very recent seasons.

a few of the key cars from each era and i would consider it job done.

to me GT is about taking a standard car and earning money to tune it into a beast, the high end stuff isnt my main interest but i feel that the formula should have some representation for its history and important to motorracing as a whole.

besides iam worried that the game is going to be too ferrari centric as it is so more makes is a good thing.

due to the ps3's nature if gt5 ever gets released the nany new model of f1 cars or any more historical ones peak PD's interest then they can always get added as DLC to those who want more f1 cars.

I would love to see some old F1 cars from the sixties and seventies in GT5. The GPL F1 cars. Not all, just a few.

Next season all cars are gonna be about the same anyways. I dont need +-20 cars with different colors.
Classic F1 cars would be great (pre 1970)

"All about the same"? On the contrary, a massive in the change in the rules makes a massive difference to performance up and down the grid, some teams will get the new changes more right than others.
If you can't see the visual difference between the 09 cars you need spectacles, if you had said the previous 8 or so seasons I may have conceeded the point but this year there are some very visible differences.

And anyway, since when was it just about the looks?

I'm pretty sure he means all the same as each other this year. Although I don't agree with that, or that having 20+ different color schemes is a bad thing (the 2004 DTM season used 3 different cars (from Audi, Mercedes, and Opel). Would you prefer just the Service 24H Mercedes, Red Bull Audi, and Phoenix Opel, or by including '20+ different colors' therefore have the whole season's worth?

I did mean that! 👍

The color scheme was a synical joke though.

Um, thats what I was ranting about? The visual differences are very, well, visible. The performance differences will also be there.
Until none of the teams make their own cars, you can't compare it to Touring Cars and privateer teams. Even Toro Rosso have their differences to Red Bull with a different engine supplier.

Unless somehow people think "this year" is 2008?

If you're trying to say to me that the front wing of the Ferrari F60 and the Renault R29 "look exactly the same" I'll just give up right now trying to argue this point.

They should make a F1:CE for 2009. It should update every year with a new game like how Madden NFL and Smackdown vs. Raw. That would be perfect.

Oh hell yeah! Too bad the sales volume isn't anywhere near madden.

Agreed 👍. The bad thing is that F1 does not get it's fair shake here in the states . it's all about Nascar over here. ( sorry for going off topic a bit ). I would like to see some F1 teams in the game , but not all.

Codemasters are currently making F109 and from what I've heard so far, it's sounding quite promising. Also, there was an F1 game made for each season, bar 2007 and 2008, hopefully Codemasters will bring back that trend.

I would certainly like a few "significant" cars, but all teams? I think I can do without things like Arrows and Prost...

Prost yeah, Prost isn't necessary....But Arrows actually had a great car in their history.
(Even though they never won)

The whole F1 field is probably not needed, although I wouldn't complain...

What would be really nice is some classic F1 cars, as others already said.

F1 cars in GT5?, Well some would be a good I suppose, but it isn't something I yearn for!IF they drove like an F1 then I would prefer PD&Co made an F1 game with old tracks and cars as well as new. Maybe called THE F1 EXPERIENCE by GT ,they did a good job of TT didn't they?
