I vote YES!
By the way. It is a great idea because now you will truly be unique with THAT (lets say) 2002 Mercedes Benz CLK-DTM edition that no one really has. I give it a đź‘Ť
I bet it will be 5 dollars for 2-3 tracks then yes

I'd buy everything in a heart beat. If I had to prioritise it, I'd buy tracks first. As much as Suzuka is an amazing track, I am sick and tired of it. Same goes for the others, too.

Haven't touched GT5P, except to rewatch some GT-TV stuff, in months.

No, and I can't believe this has been posted, because we are just giving ideas to PD that we don't need. They could make a fortune for PD, out of prologue as we are all desparate for more content.
Exactly what I was thinking. Big mistake to make this poll IMO, or at least to vote yes in it since PD will then see many are willing to pay for content.

Haha, unique? Everyone will buy it then. :dunce:

We should never paywith real money for extra content. IMO the up-dates are service, for your costumers. Cos we are all customers. All this stuff is expensive enough. If we all start paying for stuff like this there is no turning back. We can buy extra content, but pay with the credits we earn in the game. Cos keep in mind we are playing a game. If we allow them to pay for stuff like this we end up for paying for new tires as well. IÂ’m a bit sarcastic (that's me) now but you guys know what I mean.

I would buy some tracks and some cars. I really hate when we have to pay for extra content for video games though.

I'd probably decline. I'd hate to spend money on cars and tracks that would only end up in GT5 anyway and there's two reasons for that. One because I'll be buying GT5 anyway and so I'll get the cars for no extra cost then. And secondly the more content GT5:P has included, the less content there will be to experience for the first time in GT5. I would assume that all the cars and tracks in GT5:P would feature in GT5 off the shelf, if some GT5:P cars wern't in the game but we're only available to download at a charge I would be very annoyed at the companies policy on the matter. I have nothing against the idea of paying for additional content that has been made after the games release, but conent that has been held back and then charged for is scandalous imo.

So in short, no.

I voted yes to all. GT5 is one of my hobbies, so therefore i wouldn't mind forking out a bit of cash every now and again for extra bits.

Think of it this way, many people (me included) will pay similar money for a pint of beer, which will give you 10 minutes pleasure. So buying a track or a car which will give you many many hours of pleasure seems like a bargain.

GT5 will be a full game, with great tracks and cars. I have no problem with extra content coming along later, and as i've said elsewhere, this extra content will cost PD money to develop, so why should we get it for free?

Edit: Sorry rushed my post between races and didn't read the question properly lol. But i would still pay for extra cars and tracks for gt5p, as long as there's not too many. Would prefer tracks to cars though.

I agree, that it would be nice move from PD to give us something new to Prologue, cause it seems that they cant keep their promises about improves what supposed to come to this game... and full version obviously has delayed quite much from what was planned*.

(*I assume there is not supposed to be two years between Prologue and Full Version at first.)

I'm really amazed, how many hates to pay few dollars about hypothetical option to buy few new tracks into this game, and give it a new life for that long year what is coming.

Dont you 'negative-guys' think that those new tracks and cars, could even save some of your moneys, cause you propably would spend much more time at home with this game then? Even one night outside with your friends cost more than those assumed few tracks, and few nice cars.

How about your life-costs in general... how much youre willing to spend some trendy-shoes, sweatshirts, or pants... even you could buy as good from some cheaper store without cool Logo, and spend those moneys to re-new this game for those long months.

How about you go to foodstore, and buy your regular food stuffs ...and before going to pay them, put everything you really dont need, like beers, candys, juices, meat etc etc, back and you have saved those dollars for those new contents.

Maybe I really havent seen what is really tight life-situation, but I could do those two extra hours at work with really big smile on my face, to have that 20$ for 'new GT5P'.

GT5P is what we have now. If PD decides to give us something more with small price, there is nothing wrong actually... it's only bad customer-politics after lack of their information and delays.

I think what AutoAki and I are trying to say is that if you say yes to cars and tracks then it will end the world economic crisis.:lol:

 ...yes! But seriously, after I bought PS3+GT5P offer, I have saved about 2000€, cause I'm so racing addict that I havent use my car many months almost nothing, or been in local pool-hall where I used spend every minute of my free-time before. I havent had any needs for new clothes either, cause I dont visit anywhere.

My bankroll has been always near zero, but now I have for a long time reach that magical 2kilo at last, even nothing else have changed in my life than GT5P...?

Edit: Atleast it would help Sonys economical crisis, and we dont want them fall down... dont we? ;)

I will never pay for Downloadable content. Games developers have always made money on games and gran turismo has such a cult following that it will never go broke. For KY to deny us cars and tracks would be absolute sacrilege. It would defeat the purpose of earning cars through credits and races. Has everyone forgotten this basic and challenging principal?
Why would we wait for so long for GT5 to be released only to realise that not all the cars or tracks would be included?
"Oh the Nurburgring...you have to pay to get that track fellas" EFF THAT

Where talking about prolouge not the full game. But DLC is extra, PD wont take things out and charge for them.

To me sounds youre talking about GT5... this poll was about Prologue.

Question is, are you ready to pay little more to have few tracks and cars more, so you could hang on without dying to boredom while waiting one more year.

Edit: D***, Turbo is faster.

"It would defeat the purpose of earning cars through credits and races. Has everyone forgotten this basic and challenging principal?"

I dont anymore give nothing to that 'old-school' section of GT... I have prayed years that we could have good online-mode, so I dont need to drive against idiotic AI-cars. That is so pathetic to sit alone, and race alone. I think that 'challenging principal' was only choice that PD had skills to do earlier.

No freaking way... Its already over AU$100 for a new game,
hell the "Prologue" was AU$50! I never paid for addons in
Resistance, Motorstorm or Warhawk and I'm not about to start.

Having said that, I assume it will be the case if the GT-TV
downloads are anything to go by. An absolute deal breaker
for me. Are you listening PD? 1/3 of your fanbase will be pissed!

Why you hate that so much? It's nothing away from you, if some of us buy few more tracks cause we have driven thousands and thousands laps of Suzuka and Fuji!? Is it better that GT5P dies cause people stop driving. :grumpy:

...and 2/3 of fanbase will be delighted, and many who have bored will come back to the track... wouldn't that be good thing?

Well said my friend đź‘Ť

I can understand why some of you might not want to pay for DLC for prologue.

As for the full GT5 though, i'm not sure some people are fully understanding the idea additional content. We will all buy the same FULL game. Additional content is an addition to the full game. It's not compulsory to buy it, but it's there if you want to buy it.

You can go to Subway and buy a full sub sandwich, you can also pay extra to have extra cheese on it if you wish.

You can buy a full pizza, you can also pay extra to have extra toppings on it if you wish.

You can buy a new car, you can also pay extra to have extra gizmo's etc on it if you wish.

Is anyone pissed with subway, local pizza shop, car manufacturer etc because you have to pay extra to get extra stuff?

Thanks a lot. Now I'm not only angry... I'm also hungry.

Wouldn't purchase them for Prologue, because I am already essentially paying them $40 to beta test.

Wouldn't purchase them in the full version because I just don't see the sense in being nickled and dimed for new pixels on a regular basis.

ME too, could just eat a BMT with loads of chillies. They can sod off if they think i'm paying for extra cheese though lol.

I better eat something and go to sleep.

I'm very disappointed to peoples, who highly resist payable EXTRA tracks and cars for GT5P.

I can clearly understand if you aint gonna use your dollars to download them, but why to get pissed about if others would be ready to do that? Your Prologue will still remain as good as it is.

I'm quite sure these peoples dont realise how much, too much, some of us has been rounding same tracks here. It's easy to be tourist, who shortly visit in GT5P few times at month, and then go back to other games and continue shooting virtual-opponents. You should remember that without us, hardcore-fans, GT5P online will be even more boring than it is now.

So many good drivers has alredy disappeared from tracks, and it will continue if something good wont happen. Please PD... dont make me buy Xbox when RacePro will come next month. :(

NOOOOO if I know that GT5 will be toned down just to have DLC, I will not buy GT5
I'm sorry but I never accepted the fact of developers toning down games just to make you pay for the rest of the content. It's just ridiculous in my opinion!!!

Ditto,I think $60 is quite enough for a COMPLETE game.

I'm really not interested in paying more for Prologue, unless the money spent would be credited toward the full GT5. I was expecting more in the way of updates than what has been delivered, at least so far and with the full release at least a year away.

For the full game, I would pay, but on the most limited of conditions:

The content supplied when initially purchasing the game should be complete and substantial, on the order of GT4 in terms of car, track, and event variability.

"Pay-Per" cars and tracks would be of great interest to certain groups of people, possibly introduced via a petition method where members of the GT5 gaming/racing community could let PD know what vehicles/tracks (both past and present) they would like to see in the game, and PD could go about trying to add them. Cost would be related to the number of people making the request and/or the difficulty/expense for PD to introduce the extra.

In other words, I'd pay to have PD insert cars (1978 Saab 99EMS) and tracks(GingerMan) that might be of great interest to me, but not the worldwide gaming community, making it truly "special" and worth the extra dollars.
