psn store has the Audi and Toyota for 4 Euros each listed.

Before I buy I have to get my Subie to the garage for a Lambda sensor replacement. Depending on the costs, I will decide to get it :)

East coast, United States. I double checked, the PS4 store does say September 4 release, not the 3rd. No big deal, just thrown off by the release date posted online by various websites.
 
So far so good, set up my usual preferences and started a new career. Basically trounced the AI at Sweden on JWRC using realistic damage and medium difficulty, which is better than last year in WRC8.

Wonder if they have adjusted the difficulty or maybe it’s that I’ve run these Sweden stages so many times I can do them in my sleep.

Codriver is better than last years. The WRC8 guy must have retired.

FFB out of the box seems better (smoother, less wrestling maybe?) on gravel, tarmac and snow, but it’s way too early to tell anything. But seems as if changes have been made.

Also, the load screens are still longer than ever...and the game is now an advertisement for Fanatec..

And the new music is a nice touch, especially the Kenyan drums. Though they’re a bit strange at Sweden.

The Porsche @ Turkey is quite a handful in today’s daily - was trying to get a sub 5 minute time but just fell short with a 05:05.xx.

Hella pretty looking though, especially the dynamic weather change midway through.

That is some great car control. I have a lot to learn. Turkey scares the you know what out of me in this game.
 
Can anyone confirm, does the physics model in this game allow you maintain a steady 'drift' through hairpins and corners on throttle or does the car 'bog down' as in past wrc titles? Thinking of the donut sections in some of the special stages in previous games you couldn't maintain a powerslide . Hope this makes sense!
 
Why is it possible to assign different values to left and right action in the configuration of you controller. Who would ever want that?

Could someone confirm if the steering wheel (in cockpit view) still only moves slightly when turning hard? E.g when doing a hairpin at full lock the wheel only moves about 45 degrees in the preview build
