I will stalk this thread with great interest in the coming weeks. Definitely one to watch for the non-driver.

What if we had required settings for each stage?

I think since the idea of the series is to have an equal playing field, and I have to follow this to a degree, I'll make the LSD non adjustable. I will leave the suspension customisable so you can setup the car for rallying AND since the car was topping out in testing I'm making the transmission customisable also 👍

EDIT: I'm going to get to work tomorrow on the Liege stage for the Portugal Rally power stage. I'm aiming for about 3 miles or so of flowing/tight corners and it will be available for download on my profile ASAP.

For the practice/test stage.

I had the transmission set a little too short, and I'd also left it in automatic for some reason. If I did another lap with these corrected it wouldn't be fair, so that is my time for the test.

The closest you can get the room restrictions to 163BHP and 896kg are: 157bhp/167bhp, and 890kg.

I'm not a very good rally driver ;) but go ahead and sign me up for this.

Signed up, welcome 👍

Joe, I also had transmission problems as I did my run before I set the transmission to customisable. Weight shouldn't be an issue as 896 is the minimum but we may just have to go on trust when it comes to bhp.

For BHP I suppose you could always change it to 167bhp, since the car gets 168bhp when the engine is fully worn in. The room could be set to 167bhp, which puts the power limiter of a fully worn in car at 99.8% to get in.

Sure, that sounds reasonable 👍

Hey Tom, doubt I'll be able to do this buddy as the ISTCC is taking up my spare time. Sorry mate, best of luck.

Is this starting tomorrow? If I can make it tomorrow then you can put me in for this. :)

It's between tomorrow and next Friday, you can do the runs when you want, you just have to make sure a steward is present 👍

Nope, fully customisable is allowed so you don't top out.

Can we just run with another competitor? Because the time differenceBetween you and me is huge. So ICan't drive with you during the week.

Had a brilliant setup but it kept spinning out on the banked turn so went back to stock.:irked:

Put in a couple laps before I had to head out to work, and had a question. Is this going to be a standing start? I ran a 29.xxx in the first lap, and a 21.xxx the second in a two lap race.
Also, when you say we can't adjust the diff, does that mean run the stock one? Or does that mean run the adjustable version how it comes? Or does it not matter which one I have installed, as long as it isn't adjusted?

Too much oversteer for your liking?

Setting the gearbox/suspension is going to be hell as we don't get to practice the track before the timed run right? Like in real rally? Although they use maps to roughly estimate it.

It would be like a Super Special Stage but I can only see it ending badly

So are you in man?

You could divide the track into two like a real SSS and one car isn't allowed in the other half (side) of the white line on monacco.

Right, you use the standard differential bdub. The stewards are basically nocturnal so we'll be able to do your runs during the weekend, if there's issues I might make bdub a steward.

With the small amount of power transmission settings shouldn't be too hard, you'll just have to adjust your final gear so it'll take ages to top out.

Not so sure on this anymore because I forgot that the Suzuki Swift was FF 👎 .

Are we allowed to practice beforehand on a stage or not like real rally is?

Well I can't stop you from practicing stuff like the Nurburgring but I won't be sharing the created stages beforehand 👍

Oh btw SS 1.28.4 a few bhp down as I havent run car in fully yet either.

The fact I did my run without any practice is my excuse for being painfully slow, I'm sure I could break 1:30 with ease

Damn that is a quick time.
