WRC, ERC and national rallying 2025Rally

Surprised Hyundai don't want it back. Even F1 teams try to keep broken wings because they can be cut and fixed.

At that price Hyundai would probably be happy to buy it back, gotta be cheaper than making a new one.

Doesn't even look that bad as the rear hatch got ripped off with the wing pretty much intact, Looks like the just the right hand side of the top plane of the wing is gone. Be surprised if Hyundai don't get it back one way or another.

I went to see a bit of the shakedown today, I didn't get close enough to get some good photos of the cars in action, but I captured a few of them as they were exiting the stage.

Some software developer collected data from Monte and try to make better telemetry than rally.tv

Formaux closing in on Evans today, looking extremely comfortable behind the wheel of the Hyundai. Rovanpera 6th and struggling.

Less than 10 seconds separate the top 5

After SS8:
Evans
Katstuta
Tanak
Formaux
Neuville
Rovanpera
Sesks
Mcerlean
Pajari
Munster

What a rally that was. Fantastic win for Evans, nice advantage in the championship early on, Katstuta drive well but still waiting for that elusive win, Neuville P3. Power stage was very tight but went to Evans by 1 tenth over Taka.

Next stop, Rally Kenya.

And it was a close competition, so good for WRC. We need more manufacturer.

Speaking of Adrien (belatedly);

One of the first victims of MBS's mind-bogglingly stupid hate-boner against any kind of profanity... not even a case of Fourmaux directing abuse at another competitor or stewards/course staff, it was purely self-criticism. They're getting mics shoved into their faces a mere 20/30 seconds after they go through the flying finish for crying out loud!

If they have something akin to a drivers shared chat I'd absolutely be discussing a boycott or the absolute bare minimum for the end-stage interviews in Kenya, it's ridiculous.
