That's right folks, it's time to get dirty!

This series will contain only the WRC rally cars from GT3. There are 10 cars that will be allowed in the series. They are listed below. I'll list the drivers too, as they are randomly assigned.

- Peugeot 206 Rally Car (spaceviper)
- Toyota Corolla Rally Car (AltF8, lav01)
- Lancia Delta HF Integrale Rally Car (GVX, 426 Hemi)
- Ford Escort Rally Car (353 Hemi, Simon Tibbett)
- Ford Focus Rally Car (rhnelson)
- Subaru Impreza Rally Car (jervinator, adman_rob)
- Subaru Impreza Rally Car Prototype (Hyper_Kat)
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Rally Car (ZeroCool85, Pags68)
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII Rally Car Prototype (Tobias971)
- Toyota Celica Rally Car (frentzey)

Rules are as follows:

1. The cars used will be arcade mode rally cars.
2. Each race will take place in Arcade Mode, consisting of several laps around a rally circuit (Stage).
3. After the first race, the first place car will receive no penalty in the next race, while the second place car will receive a small penalty on the next race's time. Third place will receive a larger penalty, and so on. This is to simulate the WRC's running of the cars in a specific order, chosen by the drivers. The first place driver chooses when to run in the next stage, and usually chooses to run last, when gravel has been cleared from the stage.
4. Sign up in this thread only. Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis. There are only 20 slots for drivers to fill.
5. Drivers will be randomly placed in a car for the first round of the series. The winner of the first series will get first choice of cars for the second series. Second place gets second choice and so on.

So, sign up - and put any questions here also.

This is me...officially signing up. :)

Ugh...Toyota... :P

Well...at least you know I'm not cheating!

Oops...saw the problem. Fixed now.

I'll probably wait until after Christmas to start. That'll give people a chance to practice with their assigned car.

BTW, you are the luckiest guy in the world...

Where do I sign up???
Uh, Uh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry what I meant to say was
SIGN ME UP 😈

This is what I like, a lot of new faces ready and willing to take the challenge. See you all at the track, that is if my escort makes it there.

Well I'm still gonna thank you even though the focus is faster than the lancer evo 6 i still love the evo 6.

Hi AltF8!,

Just one thought that came to mind concerning the series. If we were to use the Rally Cars in the Arcade garage we won’t be open to people modifying their cars more than they should. Everyone will be on an even playing ground. Also it may be easier for some people win the races on Arcade (Hard) to unlock all the Arcade cars rather than trying to win specific races or buy specific models!

Just a thought!

Yeah GVX thats a great idea my lancer evo6 has been moded and i just remembered this right now.

Hmmm..... I guess we just take for granted that everybody had access to all the cars. Easy for us fanatics to do, I suppose....and I think I already polished and balanced mine....

ALT!!! HELP!!!!

Well, the rules say that they can't anyway.

It's all about honesty. Using the arcade cars wouldn't allow people to change settings, which I'd like to leave open.

Okay, if you DON'T have your assigned car, go get one. Or, you are welcome to use the arcade car.

Alt - Is it possible to buy all the rally cars from the Dealerships?? If Yes, then no problems. If you don't have the car you've been allocated then it's just a matter of handing over some cash and buying it.

If there's some Rally Cars you cannot buy and you can only win it in a race once only, then there will be some people like myself that have already fully modified that car. As you know some of the mods cannot be removed (weight reduction, engine porting etc...) so in theory the only way I could get that car in stock condition would be to start a brand new game. :(

As you mentioned earlier if you can't get or don't have the car you need just use the Arcade one. Again you could do this but you will be running lower BHP (no oil change) and won't be able to fine tune any of the cars settings, as Arcade cars cannot be modded!

Alternative would to be run Arcade Rally cars for everyone with no settings (except ASM & TCS which can turned on/off from the options menu) so it's all fair or run the risk of people having to spend hours starting a new game just so they can compete.

Hmmm...does cause some problems. What do others think?

Should we run Arcade cars only?

it doesnt really matter to me, i have the 206 in my garage and its UNTOUCHED never touched half the cars in my garage they just sit there and rust lol, hey its winter and i havent even prepped my cars for it!

i think changing settings is fair as you would be able to do this in a real race.

as far as i know most of the rally cars can only be slightly upgraded with a turbo and that is removable.

besides how do you get assigned a car???
