this is a joke, right?

I won't start an argument over specs...
I have my own opinion regarding each car's potential with current specs and tyres. That being said, I'll be driving a Ford next season...

The Ferrari is harder to drive. There's nothing else I can tune to equalise. It's also harder to drive.

Then limit the Ford. There is a reason I chose Ford before the season. There is no real incentive to use the Ferrari...

Start of the season I had suggested adding weight to the Ferrari, given that with these tyres, its low weight is a handicap rather than an advantage...

So the prototypes have sport softs tyres? Not Racing tyres for the racing cars with power and little weight...is this not bad and harder to drive?

Racing tyres too grippy. Look at any video of 60's GT and LM cars. Skinny tyres, sliding through turns. It's what makes it interesting. Sports tyres on these make it more interesting and challenging.

Ok just wondered about joining but if its too tricky for me, I best stay away.

Yep. GT Auto aero allowed on the Camaro and Corvette. GT cars are slower but very much a sideways laugh

Ok I will test to see if I can drive them. I will get back to you.

If you limit the Ford, the Ferrari will be too fast. The Ferrari is just as fast as the Ford, it all depends on the driver- some people are faster in different cars.

And its the people who can't exploit the Ferrari who are wanting change...

Also point out lancer finished 2nd on his debut in one last night...

When you and RPH were frequent visitors to the pits, and with Carb and smuffy taking breaks which lasted for laps.

I wouldn't really underrate the achievement considering pace alone wasn't the only factor - one would also need to keep the car in one piece to have the slightest chance for victory.

Pic of last night...

Before I screwed it up by putting a wheel on the grass @ T1. :grumpy:

^^ Great Picture.

Bagging the Corvette NOW for next season.

Cheers 👍

Also after last night I'll definitely be staying with the Mustang. Not only because I won with it, but because compared to some of the other cars it sounds awesome.

You did well to carry on for as long as you did with that heavy rear damage. I didn't even realise you had any until I watched some of the replay this morning.

At least when I went to fix that damage, the pit lane didn't screw me over.

aha, I must be on of the only people with a 100% success rate with that pit lane.

I'm also a member of that club. You just had to be going slow enough, and turn in as soon as possible. Turning in too late will usually give you a drive through, so you need to turn in as soon after the yellow pit signs as possible.

My car seemed to be the only prototype that could drive over the turn 2 bumps without really being affected. Everyone else seemed like they had to be more careful over them, and had some spins off of them.
