Good luck Edit.

Furi I may miss this week due to F1 but will definitely be here for the Le Mans weekend. See if I can give the C1 drivers a run for your money down the Mulsanne straight

:embarrassed:

Why?

Looks like we may be a few down tonight, due to F1 and Euro football. We are still going ahead as usual, but probably a grid of around 8-12 I expect.

i hope joe and spurgy aren't there so i can close up :P

I'm going to miss this race due to F1 and this being 1 of 2 races (maybe 3 if US GP happens) that I can actually watch during the day and not have to wake up at 6:00am (Euro races) or stay up until 2:00 am (Asian races).

Looks like whoever turns up tonight could gain some major points...

I could probably do it, but I'm not too keen on long races with a low amount of entries.

And I just got signed off PSN again.

Race 3 – Spa-Francorchamps Sportscar Grand Prix @ Spa-Francorchamps
36 Laps / 90 minutes (approx) / 27 laps to be classified.

Eau Rouge, Blanchimont, La Source, Pouhon, Radillion, Les Combes... some of the most terrifying corners in racing all on this high speed Belgian circuit. A challenge made even more daunting by the unique micro-climate of the Spa region.

how did spurgey get 12 points then 13 if he won both? should he not have two 13's? how do C1 points work?

+1 for fastest lap. Same reason you have 7 instead of 6 for Daytona. You in tonight gokartman?

@Marunda high ride height, always run that settings, helps the handling a lot for me.

There's a point for fastest lap, which you got at Daytona. Spurgy got it at Monza. If a result is in bold, that person got the fastest lap.

probably the hills effect, and probably raised because a higher ride height in GT5 helps turn in because silly physics.

But it's jacked up at the back too, higher gives better lateral grip lower gives better longitudinal grip, so surely that just severely affects cornering grip?

I can understand a high front and low back but not high both.

No, in fact lower the rear I find it more tail happy. Trust me Marunda, this same set ups been used for 2200 miles with little issues...

High front and low rear = oversteer in game.

Stupid, but true.

thankyou for pointing the fastest lap thing out, i missed it completely :dunce:. in real life you put the ride height up to get more grip and you lower the ride height to increase stability..

Yes but high front and low rear= greater turn in and the oversteer can be cured with springrates and gearing etc.

With the settings I run the car is geared to steady and consistent, and able to go well for long stints. Spa testing i'm only 1.5 seconds off my fastest lap of 2:11.7 in WSM1 which was achieved with RS tyres.
