🤬

While I remember,

Kartman 36 laps
Spurgy 36 Laps
Joe -1 lap
Furi -6 laps
Cami -8 laps
Randy-11 laps

This is right I think.

You had fastest lap for sure 👍

Now next week, the big one, 500k of Le Mans!

Ignore the typo on the C2 pts, next race is...

Race 4 – Le Mans 500k @ Le Mans 2005 NC
36 Laps / 500 kilometres / 27 laps to be classified.

Le Mans is the most legendary endure of all times. 500 kilometres of flat out racing down the Mulsanne will test drivers abilities to stay on the limit – and double points offer an even greater incentive to fight onwards. Race will start about 15min earlier, at 7.30pm BST (latest 7.45) as opposed to the usual 7.45 (latest 8.00). Room will open for quali about 6.30pm BST

If it's possible, I'd love to join in for the 500 kilometres of Le Mans and 300k of Nürburgring sounds brilliant as well. Can't promise I can make all the races but these two sound unmissable.

EDIT: You have Targa Florio as well! Magnificient!

A CALM racer... :scared: Welcome. Send a FR, Le Mans will probably be busiest of the season. As it stands this is my understanding of entries:

C1
Chapparal
Gokartman away, Akmuq won't race it due to its speed deficit.

Ferrari
Neljack's in, Chris will be back, one Ferrari seat probably available.

Ford Mk IV
I'm in as per usual, Dax may not make an early start and Carb is a 50/50. Ellis quit, so its just me. Though TomMcD may be filling in one Ford. May have to contact an old friend for the 3rd car...

Jaguar
Spurgy and Joe as usual, Maybe Kamui Brooks AKA Tom will show.

C2
Camaro
Akmuq probably in one, as well as Matty, both football depending. Ranhammer's looking at it but may be at a Super GT race.

GT40
Flying Fox is brave enough to step out down the Mulsanne in the monster.

Corvette
RFLX will be back to murder the Mulsanne, with Paul Mac making a one-off as well.

Dodge
C2 leader FrasierCrane, with Rockr Elite will probably be back, as well as GTP CAMiKaze, Super GT commitments pending.

So it looks chaotic

What car OK8?

The Ferrari sounds good and it's the only car I have. If there's a seat available I'll gladly take it.

There is a seat.

And we still have seats for this series full stop, even if it is on a race by race basis.

OK8, after seeing you're Comfort Hard Nordschleife hotlaps, I'm not one bit surprised you took the Ferrari.

 Actually the only reason I have it is the fact that I was going to do a comfort hard hotlap with it. Too bad it ended up as a "work in progress"

Really looking forward to racing it though.

the ferrari is really hard to control from experience, in 5 races my best was 3rd, 2 laps behind the winner at monza

Carbonox
Being from CALM basically means he's gonna own the field even while using wet tires in the dry? :scared:

Let's see if he can keep up with team Jag, mwahahahaha

Oh and, Joe, I might let you take the lead on the straight because you can go faster on the straights :)

A few questions:

Is there specific car specs somewhere? Is tuning allowed? Which aids are allowed? Is there a limit to how many sets of mediums are allowed or is it just a free choice between hards and mediums? Is tyre wear enabled? I can't find any dates for the races.

Thanks.

The car specs are all tuning parts allowed apart from a turbo or supercharger, so if you're thinking about driving the Ferrari you can add all parts apart from the turbos. The 2D has a PP limit to stop it from dominating too much on the twistier (and wet) tracks.

ABS is the only aid allowed, though I don't remember if it's limited to 1 or not.

There is no limit to tyres, you can use as many as you want of any allowed compound and you are not required to use more than 1 compound. Tyre wear and fuel usage are enabled, along with real grip reduction, weak slipstream, and light damage.

Races are run on sundays, with the room going up sometime around 7pm BST (it went up 30 minutes earlier this week, with the race meant to start at the same time as usual). Qualifying begins as soon as the room is up and ends when the race is started. The race starts at 7:45BST but can sometime be given a slight delay if required (we started 15 minutes later this week to get 1 or 2 more drivers in).

The next race is 36 laps at Le Mans 2005 No Chicanes. After that it will be 20 laps of Furi's created Targa Florio (with time change), and the final race is 12 laps of the Nurburgring 24H with time and weather change. Le Mans and the Nurburgring are double points races.

I didn't know Furi knew joe's password...

If there's room for me, I may join in a Camaro. Always like racing at Sarthe.

I'll try show up aswell, probably in a Ford.

By the way Furi, are you going to give the Camaro that power break? It'll be stuffed on the Mulsanne if you keep it as it is.

I don't think I'm going out of town this Sunday, so I'll sign up for a one off at La Sarthe. I'll let you know what car I will drive, but are there any that I cannot choose?

Joe is right, RM or RH tyres with Inters and Wets for weather. You DON'T have to use both compounds. All aids off except ABS, Tyre wear is on, grip reduction real, limited damage, standing starts.

Testing it at moment 👍

They are all free as I know.

How much HP does the Ferrari 330 have? I'm not sure if mine's completely run in but it has 471hp now.

This is going to be seriously scary this race, we had 11 in WSM1 IIRC for Le Mans, and 9 for WSM2. They were 24 laps though, and Ford are defending Le Mans for a second time...

Started a room for testing and/or practice. Join if you want.
